My husband and I had such an amazing time at Grey Cliffs. The staff were terrific. Chris was so kind and made sure everything was going well with our stay. My favorite things with Chris were driving to the top of the property and going to shoot clays! Rory was a phenomenal chef and it was such a treat to be guests in his kitchen and at his table. The home and property are spotless and so well appointed and our room was comfortable and quiet. We wish we could come back every weekend!

Truly one of best vacations we have ever taken… My family of 4 visited the ranch in mid-August and we are already planning on making a return visit in 2020. I could go into the superb accommodations (Beautiful 2 room suite), breathtaking views (rolling hills) and wildlife galore. I could also talk about the staggering number of activities (Fly fishing, ATV Tours, Tubing, Archery, Target shooting, Hiking, Cooking Class) that consistently tuckered out my 2 boys (11 and 9) But I think that would understate the true magic of this place…By the end of the 7 days we were there, we honestly felt like family. We were lucky enough to overlap our stay with the owners and having met them you can understand their vision and true joy they have in sharing the ranch with guests. This culture is driven by the top notch team they have in place at the ranch. Starting with Chris P, stellar outdoorsman, bartender, CJ7 lover , fellow (Ex)pennsylvaniaian and all around super interesting guy. Rory, a legitimate culinary wizard and part time child whisperer (teaching 2 boys with attention span of gnats a number of napkin designs and art of perfect pizza dough) Tracy-amazing guide with the patience of Mother Teresa that was successful in getting my wife hooked on Fly Fishing (no pun). There something very special about Grey Cliffs Ranch and I would highly recommend visiting!

Chris and team know how to do it! Love visiting this ranch and Rory, Mary, Chris and Jill took good care of us. Without even a hint Chef Rory prepared a lunch for me when I checked out! Hospitality is their mantra and the fishing was great! Thank you to Doug and Stephanie as well. The owners were more than gracious!! Can’t wait to go back..

We went to Grey Cliffs Lodge with a group of friends and found it hard to leave at the end. The Lodge is magnificent, with beautiful views of the Tabacco Root mountains and lots of sun pouring in hugh wood windows. The staff adds so much to the stay: Chris is a wonderful ranch manager who helped with all aspects of our trip, and Chef Rory prepared the most delicious and thoughtful meals, accomodating our different dietary needs with great attention to detail. We used the lodge as a base to do one day at Yellowstone and one day at Big Sky to ski, and highly recommend both activities. We enjoyed the hot-tub and the rooms were so comfortable and private. We enjoyed hiking on the ranch and would have loved several more days to read by the fire! Highly recommend GCR on every level, thank you staff for an amazing vacation!

This incredible opportunity is not to be missed! You're own "private" luxury ranch! I have traveled the world and never come across a model like this. The owners built their own dream house on thousands of acres of the prettiest country in Montana and have opened it up to guests. Staying here is pressing the "easy" button. Everything you could want is taken care of. Chef Rory is amazing. Breakfast and dinner are taken care of. It's so civilized. Relax and watch the sunset over cocktails and wait for Rory to announce that dinner is served. And on those days when we decided we loved the ranch so much we just wanted to hang out - lunch was taken care of as well. As another reviewer said, "this is precisely what a luxury lodge should be! ...the architecture, landscaping, and interior design of the lodge are stunning. Top it off with Chef Rory’s superb culinary creations, perhaps a selection from the wine cellar, and a Montana sunset, and perfection approaches!" Chris and Rory are down-to-earth, warm and happy to help with anything you need. Bonus - Chris's wife has a professional pottery studio right on the ranch - everyone in our party purchased something. We came in January and spent a day doing a private tour in Yellowstone National Park. This is also not to be missed in the winter. If you go, don't miss the short hike up to the top of the bluff at Buffalo Jump State Park - just a couple of miles down the road. This is where native Americans ran buffalo off of the cliff for over 1,000 years. The trip of a lifetime! Thank you Chris & Rory!
