I’ve stayed once in awhile in Thompson Falls at another place but this time it was full so looking for options. We were so glad this happened to be where we landed. It was very quiet and we got a corner room so we had nice cool air and didn’t have to use the air conditioning. The check in was smooth and easy as was check out. The room itself was very clean and the grounds were well maintained. It’s within easy walking distance of Island Park for a beautiful walk and a nice stretch of the legs after a meal. It’s also in easy walking distance to the main part of town for a meal as well.

We spent the night in Thompson Falls on our return trip from Glacier National Park. We enjoyed our stay at this locally owned motel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and within walking distance of downtown shops as well as the scenic high bridge. We stayed in the king suite and enjoyed the patio and larger bathroom. The room could use some new carpeting and drapes but otherwise was very nice. Our favorite part of our stay was Andrea at the front desk who was very nice and helpful, plus smiled at every opportunity, even when not prompted.

The Falls motel was clean and had what we needed. For a night stay. The highlight is the location. At the end of the block there is a walking bridge that takes you across the water to an island where you can walk and explore. You get great views of the two dams and it was like a little sanctuary. It was a treasure to find and definitely worth a few minutes or more of your time.

Do not stay here! There are way better options in Thompson Falls.
Honest review: Parking is very tight and at weird angles but doable.
Hotel staff appeared friendly at first but when you needed something they acted like it was an imposition.
Basic maid service did not happen daily, only happened twice in 6 days, after we asked. Basic maid service like clean towels and the trash emptied. It was not like we asked for a lot.
Tried twice to get a roll of toilet paper and it never happened, we bought a roll at the convenience store.
Shower stalls are small and the toilet flushed only after multiple tries.
The hair dryer went out the first time I tried to use it. Informed the staff and their reply was "We don't keep any extras here so we had to order one. " Never had the use of a hair dryer.
Really nothing good about this stay except we did not get wet when it rained!

The check in went smoothly and nice people there. We had room 19 which was nice and cool for the hot weather. Our room was very clean. We do have to stay that if you want a bigger bathroom stay in one of the other rooms they have. It was quiet at night we felt safe and comfortable. The check out was smooth as well. We would recommend this place.

Very quaint and comfortable place to stay in Thompson Falls. One block to the river and walking trails along the river are beautiful. I grew up in this town and the newly renovated Falls Motel is a good choice.

We were in Thompson Falls for a sporting event. I had called ahead and reserved our favorite room (we have stayed here in the past for other events). The room I wanted was available. Check in was great. Our housekeeper was above and beyond, what could she help me with, did I need directions, etc. We will definitely stay here again. Also the motel is walking distance from most of the Thompson Falls shopping.

I was pleasantly pleased with the location: take advantage of 1/2 block walk to the Island Park Falls park. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and check in/out was easy. Will definitely stay there our next time through the area.

The Falls Motel is our "go to" when we are in Thompson Falls. The rooms have always been very clean and comfy but the recent remodels are gorgeous; You have got to try #21! The team is so relaxed and friendly while being non intrusive. There is no way we would think going anywhere else.

We stayed at the Falls Motel on our way to Idaho. What a pleasant stay! The motel is older, but very neat and clean! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Very close to the down town area of Thompson Falls. The motel is very friendly and for the 1st time in my life, they sent me a thank you for staying with us post card! They do care. I would stay here again.
