We came in around midnight and the owner said instructions were on the front porch, and they were when we got there and had no problems with our late check in. Breakfast was great, it was a full breakfast made to order, with fresh baked bread and cinnamon rolls. Room was cold when we got there, but everything else in... More

Stayed in two rooms with family of five; wife and I in a very comfy queen, and our 3 kids in a 4-bunk room. The rooms were clean, well appointed, and the log cabin Montana ambience was perfect. The courtyard area doubles as the breakfast and dinner seating for a great fresh air outdoor meal. Breakfast fare included oatmeal with... More

About 45 minutes out of Big Fork,MT and worth every minute. Creative, excellently prepared, relaxed. Three of us shared a steak tartare starter. Very nice. Two pasta/pesto entrees, one w/ shrimp, the other w/chicken. Third entree was lamb. All delicious and beautifully prepared and presented. Have a griddle cookie for desert, enough to share. Make the trip.

This time we stayed two nights at Kathleen's B & B and thoroughly enjoyed the visit. The first night featured a concert with guitars and singing and a buffet of Mexican food. We enjoyed meeting some locals during the dinner. Kathleen has a great personality and is a talented chef. We also enjoyed the Bigfork Playhouse energenic version of "Anne".

Stayed here for 3 days in July and had a wonderful time! The rooms are older, but very clean. The bed was very comfortable and our room was cozy. The property is very well maintained and Kathleen was very accommodating. The location is about thirty five miles outside of all the noise and traffic of Kalispell, which is just what... More

We had just returned from camping in Glacier and were looking for a hotel to put our feet up for the night. We came to Laughing Horse, unaware of its treasure. What a fantastic surprise for us! This is absolutely a quaint, comfortable, adorable place to spend the night. And the restaurant for dinner and breakfast with it is even... More

Can't say enough about what an outstanding home (not just a restaurant) the Laughing Horse is. My husband's family has had a log cabin on Swan Lake for nearly 85 years and I've come to the area yearly --- visiting the laughing horse is a must-do highlight. The healthy, imaginative and clearly garden fresh food is excellent but nothing compares... More

We were cycling through this area and this lodge was a fantastic find. The rooms are so comfortable and very well appointed. The beds and linens were wonderful. The food was delicious. Very nice touches like a pot of coffee available very early in the morning on the outside patio that we could help ourselves to while we packed up.... More

Wonderful lodge. Great breakfast and nice accomodations. Stayed 2 nights, would definitely stay there again. Convenient to Bigfork and lake and many activities. Definitely a different and pleasant atmosphere.

This was our final stay on our trip and we were pleasantly surprised by the setup of the lodge. The rooms were simple but homey. There was no TV or air conditioning but it was nice to have a simpler setup. Everything was very clean. The only improvement we might suggest is wider sheets on the bed. The owner was... More
