It was like spending a night at a loving & helpful family members house. We were just stopping through for one night on the way to pick up a new family dog. We didn't put much into planning this night. Surprised to find a very spacious, inviting and professional (yet homey & cozy) bed & breakfast. Very comfortable room, good... More

When I first booked our two night stay there, I had some reservations based on the picture of the house. However when we arrived my wife and I were really pleased on out selection. Like I said this place is the real B&B deal. The owners treated us like family from the time we got there until the time we... More

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this comfortable B&B. The owners take great care of their guests! We felt right at home. The breakfasts were delicious and filling, and the afternoon snacks were appreciated. We loved getting to know the family (animals included!).

This B&b enjoys a great waterfront location on the Bitterroot River. Between the house and the river the owners keep one horse, 2 goats, 2 ducks and a bunch of chickens. Don't worry they keep the rooster in a "dark house" at night so he won't be crowing at 6AM, The goats a fun to watch as they do their... More

We stayed at this B&B over Christmas this year. What a wonderful experience! Kevin and his son made us feel as though we were family! They even had Christmas gifts for us! The room had stunning views and was immaculate! Breakfasts were not only delicious with homemade sausage, buttermilk pancakes and their farm fresh eggs, but beautifully presented. This is... More

We sincerely appreciate your kind review! I know Kevin enjoyed sharing the holidays with you. As innkeepers, we are usually unable to be with our own families during the holidays. Having great guests and being able to celebrate with a fun breakfast always fills our hearts with joy. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your Christmas.... More

We loved staying at this B&B. The room and attached bathroom were roomy and cozy. The bed was new and comfortable. The breakfast was perfect to start a cold snowy day. We felt at home the moment we walked through the door. Kevin and Heather go out of their way with many extras: beverages of any kind, fresh baked cookies or... More

This was the first trip to Montana for my wife and I and based on reviews we chose to stay at Bitterroot River B&B for a night. We came in late and were immediately made to feel at home. In the morning, we were treated to an amazing fresh fried chicken and waffles breakfast by Heather and Kevin, who sat... More

We just returned from another wonderful visit to Stevensville, Montana, affectionately called "Stevi" by the locals. Heather and Kevin weren't content to watch the deer, eagles, quail and wild turkeys that frequent their property, so they added chickens, ducks, a horse, goats and sheep to enhance the entertainment factor. We always enjoy the views of the Bitterroot Mountains while experiencing... More

Gracious hosts, good food, and a cozy relaxing environment all made this stay one of our best B&B's stays to date! I would highly recommend. We spent 4 nights and 5 days. We had coffee at our door every morning when we woke up, and fresh cookies every afternoon.

In my experience Bed and Breakfasts can be either fabulous or not so great. When traveling to Montana for an anniversary trip, I neglected to tell my husband about out last lodging knowing that he might not be so keen on my pick. In the past we have experienced good and bad B & B's. The Bitterroot River B &... More
