There are two motels - same owner. I stayed in the older one. You check in at the newer one. I was a bit hesitant-but once I opened the door I new I was okay. This was by far the roomiest hotel so far on my trip. It's on the highway but I didn't hear a thing. I had deer...

Recently our family of four needed a place to stay for a few nights, as the family cabin was "very full." We checked into the Wilderness Gateway Inn, and were very pleased with our room and with the service we experienced. Yes, from the outside it is an older hotel in this town. We were given a room with two...

This is an old motel from probably the 50s or earlier but the inside was clean and comfortable. There was a no vacancy sign out in the front so we then tried another motel. The same people owned both facilities and said the people with reservations had not checked in or called to say they'd be late so we returned...

We checked in really late, very simple uncomplicated check in. The rooms really surprised me, they where spotless clean. The shower had excellent water pressure, there was no TV other than music, but it didn't really matter. Internet is very good and the over all upkeep is very impressive. The only thing I would change would be the beds. For...

The outside of the motel gives away to its age and better years. I was a little unhappy we had to drive a mile to the other end of town to another motel to check-in. Once we got to our room, the single housekeeper there was very nice and welcoming. For an obviously older establishment, the room was very clean...

This hotel was reasonably priced, clean, and close to the events we were attending. Even though it is close to the main highway, it was quiet and we got a good nights sleep every night. The accomodations are average as it is an older motel, but the staff was very nice and the free ice that they gave us for...

I stayed at this hotel this spring and had nothing but a good experience. I was a bit sceptical after reading a few bad reviews, but I discussed with the managers/owners over the phone before hand about the reason for these previous bad reviws. They had informed me that the reviews were posted before 2008 when they had taken over...

To quite honest with you i never even had to the chance to stay at this property. I found the staff so rude that i decided to cancel my reservation there and stay some where else even though it was on a busy weekend with most places sold out. I'd rather take the chance and not find somewhere to stay...

We stayed at this hotel because all other hotel rooms were booked. Approximately eight bugs were on both beds and the walls of the bathroom and main room. The neighbor was banging on walls, when confronted I observed a fat (approx. 1 inch long) dead bug in their room that they'd killed. I also viewed large cob webs on the...

Although the staff were friendly and courteous, the motel had bugs. Little bugs were found in the bedding and all over the place. When mentioned to the manager, she said that due to the heat, the bugs were trying to come in to get cool. My son had bug bites when we left. (I have stayed in some very hot...

“The room was very quiet. We NEVER heard the highway traffic at all! We stayed in room 2 which was on the ground floor and it made it very easy to unload the car and carry our items into the room.”
