We had a great stay at the St. Mary Lodge. We stayed in the Great Bear Lodge, 3rd floor, nice accommodations, great view and quiet. We ate at the Lodge restaurant every night. The food was great! Our cell phones worked fine because we have Verizon and there is a Verizon tower across the street from the Lodge.

My family and I stayed in this lodge last week during our trip to Glacier National Park. If you are looking to stay close to Glacier during your trip, book here now. The location was perfect! The rooms we had where not great, but we spent most of our time in the park and in the local area. It worked... More

There's nothing really wrong with this hotel. We stayed in the lodge itself so I can't say anything about anything else. The location is just outside the gate at Glacier National Park on the Indian Reservation which has both positives and negatives to it. When we visited, the Blackfeet were having some sort of celebration and so alcohol sales had... More

We stayed in a "Value Room." I was honestly quite worried because of some of the reviews I read from 2013 saying it smelled moldy. They must have done some renovations because, when I stayed in July 2016, I smelled absolutely nothing unpleasant. It was perfectly clean. The value room reminded me of a college dorm. Everything was clean and... More

You couldn't have a better location unless you stayed within the park and even then I don't think it could have been better. St Mary Lodge and Resort is right outside the St Mary entrance to Glacier and the Going-to-the-Sun Road. This side of the park is quieter and shuttles don't run as often but still the location was perfect.... More

My husband and I are staying a week and a half in Glacier NP and chose to spend most of those nights in St Mary in order to be close to a number of locations in the park. It is just at the eastern entrance to the Going-to-the-Sun road, and roughly half-way between the Many Glacier and Two Medicine entrance... More

We did not stay in the hotel, but we did eat at the main restaurant twice. Nice atmosphere in the dining room, as well as the lounge. We had a seat on the couch in front of the fire place. Food was very good and reasonable prices. Vegetarian options. Friendly service. There isn't much in the way of food options... More

This place has a monopoly so it is overpriced. There are not many choices to stay in this area. If you can get into the Lake McDonald Lodge, stay there. You may consider staying in Whitefish on the West side and commute to the East side. No internet, food is average at best, no phone service. I was pleased they... More

Great location for East side sights in Glacier. Facilities were what we expected from a national park locale. Pretty basic but we did not come here for the hotel. Came for the outdoor experiences. The coffee in the coffee bar near the gift shop was great!

$247 for a "room" that would make a Motel 6 very proud. If you are desperate and rich you have found Glacier Park Nirvana. The handyman was a nice guy that promptly appeared to fix the battery operated fire alarm that magically went off early morning. I'd feel satisfaction if they credited my charge card about $200.
