Red Eagle isn't a fancy place but chances are if you're staying there you'll only be using it to sleep. The view from the second floor and gazebo is spectacular, less so from the first floor duw to the parking lot. Rates compared to other lodgings in Saint Mary are lower, the room is of serviceable quality although the bathroom... More

If your travel in the area in late Sept and need an overnight the Red Eagle is sufficient . The good, view, wi fi, television , the bad, water pressure, shower is a trickle, shower head is at best five feet, so if your tall, get ready to hunker down, outside of that it's okay.

We were very pleased with the Grizzly cabin for lodging in St. Mary. Very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Great central location for hiking trails at Many Glacier and Logan Pass areas. The sitting room has a microwave and small refrigerator on a cabinet, a small table with three chairs, and two sitting chairs, an end table and lamp. No... More

The motel is one of the few in town. Great views from the window. Our room was enormous, with 2 queen beds, table, no closet, microwave and fridge. The TV was a big 29" box type one yet it had a full cable TV programming. The wifi was horrible, in the room there was no wifi, you could only use... More

The small village has only 2 hotels, thisone or a very expensive one. It had wifi only at the lobby. The attention at the reception was very poor. No coffee in room, only at front desk. Microwave and fridge in room. No breakfast. poor pillows and an old TV box shaped with full cable options

Nice view but you can't see it from the room, only if you walk outside. On top of a hill, very windy. Choose to not take a shower there - one night - waited until next place. Hard to get hot water in the sink.

This is a straight-ahead cheap motel convenient to Glacier National Park. It's off the highway, and so it's quiet. We stayed 2 nights in a lower-floor room, and I have to say the back and front of the room seemed quite a bit lower than the middle. There didn't seem to be any square corners in the place. It looked... More

I had reservations for 9/9 to 9/12. On Thursday 9/8 I realized we couldn't make it on Friday. I called and changed the reservation to 9/10 to 9/13.I was told that would not be a problem but didn't get the name of the person I spoke with. When we arrived on Saturday to check in, the "manager" said I was... More

I stayed here for 6 nights Sep 1 - 7. The location is ideal being just 1/2 mile from the East Entrance Visitor's center of the Glacier National Park. I also stayed in the cabins inside the park managed by Xanterra & they are no better but more expensive with a common/shared bath & no wi-fi. Red Eagle provides a... More

It was quiet, clean, dated. However, it was fine for the night and I wasn't looking for much. You have to remember this is remote Montana and I was not expecting resort treatment or prices. It fit my needs and that was the most important. A nice long shower after 9 days of camping and being in a room with... More
