This is the best food we have had yet on our trip from NC to Glacier NP (8 days so far). This place is amazing! It was founded decades ago by a Montana ranching family. Family style means good eating at this restaurant. Everything is made from scratch and most of it is locally sourced. Prices are fair for the... More

Was slid into a tight spot along road entrance, no fire pit, no option for outdoor cooking, not enough picnic tables for every site so staff told me when someone leaves, take their table. Really? For the amount I paid. Misleading as we were expecting a place to build a fire and cook. Explored upper campground and would have been... More

The view from the upper campground is fabulous, it is close to the West entrance to GNP, and the restaurant was great although pricey ($36 for breakfast for two). The sites are extremely unlevel and tight. we were not able to open the slide-out in our living area due to trees on the site next to us. The roads on... More

We weren't able to stay in Glacier National Park because we didn't have a hard shell camper (grizzly issues), so we opted for Johnson's of St. Mary's. The views were nice, staff was super helpful, showers were clean, there was a book and DVD sign out at no charge, and there's an adjacent restaurant with good family-style home cooking. The... More

Johnson's Campground, which is part of the complex with their retaurant and hotel, has stunning mountain views down the road a bit from the St. Mary's entrance to Glacier National Park. The campground is on the top of a hill, unlike almost all area campgrounds. Well paved road. In this area, there aren't many campgrounds. Ones in the park itself... More

We rented Curly Bear cabin for four nights. The cabin was spacious, clean, quiet, with a great view. There is a fridge and microwave. We requested a kettle and/or mugs but were told that wasn't possible. We were disappointed in the customer service in that regard. ( I also encountered a very rude woman working in the restaurant.) The cost... More

Nice choice, large signs right off road-easy to find. Very tasty food. Prices are a little high, but not uncommon around the area. You feel like your in the Wild West in this place. The soup is like some kind of beef barley? Pretty good. nice place for any meal.

We got the tip on this restaurant from a park employee. He said it was very good and very popular in this part of the country. Talk about small and homey! We went for lunch and had a wonderful experience. Our waiter was 4th generation of the owner's. The menu is interesting and had some unusual names for items. But... More

View was awesome. Bathrooms were cleanish but run down. Only 2 shower stalls worked out of 4. Wifi was horrible I had asked about its strength since I knew we would not have ATT service they said it was good over phone but told me I needed to be in laundry room to get it to work after we arrived.... First of all, I'd like to say that the management was very accomodating with us. We had a death in the family and had to reschedule our trip. They were more than willing to help us out. For that, we are truly appreciative! As for the cabin, we stayed in the first cabin, I believe it was called Single Shot,... More
