My husband and I spent our 30th anniversary weekend here at Mandorla Ranch. The property is beautiful with a wonderful view of the Mission Valley, our room was comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast was excellent! Marla is a wonderful host and made our weekend extra special. Thank you Marla!

Lovely home and grounds. Maura was a very friendly hostess who took great care of us! She gave us really helpful suggestions for things to do and see and helped make our trip go smoothly. Yummy breakfast outside was just perfect.

What a special experience. Pristine grounds, gorgeous views, immaculate environment, inside and out. Unbeatable hospitality, delicious breakfasts, and spectacular accommodations. Globally-inspired decor with souvenirs from the owners' world travels. We couldn't get over all of the distinctive features of the physical space. SO many unique elements -- hand-carved wood, inlaid stone floors, custom-built EVERYTHING. The Great Room has a full coffee bar! This was a top-notch visit in every way. We were a group of four. My husband, my toddler and I stayed in the Tristan Suite, adults in the king bed and little one on the pullout, which was perfect. It had a lovely en suite bathroom with a shower and a soaking tub. My mother stayed in the Nina room across the hall, and had her own bathroom. She said she had never slept in such a comfortable bed. Mara was incredibly accommodating with my dietary restrictions, and she went all-out each morning with delicious and substantial breakfasts. My toddler still talks about Mandorla Ranch and "Miss Mara." The experience made a lasting impression on all of us and I'm not sure anything else will ever measure up!

We had the great pleasure of enjoying the grandeur of this exquisite home and property. The gardens are incredible! From the claw foot tub to the amazing art work to the expansive home library and so much more. And the breakfasts were absolutely wonderful! Two nights was definitely not long enough to take it all in. Thank you so much, Mara! We can’t wait for our next visit.

Mandorla Ranch is a must-stay in the area. It has a beautiful and easy to find location, with neighboring cows and a small creek running around the property. There are horses, deer, and wild turkeys on the property. She has a lovely garden were we say and read and were visited by hummingbirds and butterflies. There are many different outdoor areas to sit and enjoy the scenery. The bedrooms were comfortable and the house was cozy. Mara was a great host, friendly and very welcoming into her home. There is also a hot sauna on the property which we enjoyed! The breakfast included multiple-courses and were so delicious and she was able to accommodate our dietary preferences. She use to own a coffee shop so you have access to great coffee all day long! Highly recommend if you are in the area!
