The Pollard was a good stay - free parking, free breakfast and an overall great time. The town is really cool historic and feels like you are in the Wild West. The staff was all really kind and attentive - the wifi didn't work at all so that was only downfall but the hotel was nice and rooms were cozy.... More

The Pollard: just such a treat to stay in an old historic hotel that is clean, well managed, and beautiful. Accommodating , friendly employees. Dining room for breakfast was quiet full but the staff worked hard to make us feel welcome, and the food was perfect.

The Pollard is like stepping back in time but with modern luxury. The rooms are now larger and have been upgraded since my last visit. i like the charm of the building and the very friendly staff. Braekfast is excellent but on one day there was a bit of a staff shortage but I guess that was just a one... More

The Pollard is an elegant, historic hotel with a fascinating back-story. I encourage anyone staying at or visiting the hotel to spend time in the reading room - look at the old guest register and the photos displayed around the room and you will find yourself in the old Wild West with characters such as Buffalo Bill and Calamity Jane.... Overall elegant hotel but room was dated for the amount charged. I would have given the hotel 4 or 5 stars if the room had not cost $170. I think a more realistic cost based on other hotels we stayed at in small towns in Montana would be $100 - $120. The cost did include a full breakfast in the... More

This is a renovated hotel that has the look and feel of the early 1900's with the comfort and amenities of today. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. The rooms are quite small, but that's the way they were back then. If you stay here you MUST eat in their dining room. Fabulous food, excellent service. Nice bar as well, complete with... More

My wife, two kids and I spent three nights at the Pollard. The first night there, despite booking a suite and specifying 4 people, they had us room with no pullout couch or rollaway bed. We asked but no such luck. They got a pullout couch there the next night but that was after 4 in a bed. Otherwise, the... More

Ate in the dining room 6-21016, best trout i have ever had. Nice light strawberry butter sauces, sounds weird but amazing. Fresh asparagus and spaghetti squash. Goat cheese cheesecake with local huckleberries for dessert. We eat out all the time, top tier dinner! Chef is from North Carolina, has revised the entire menu, very creative and driven to excel. Whether... More

I splurged on this hotel because it is historic. I was disappointed at low ceilings with acoustical tile. It looks like they last remodeled in the 60's. The attached restaurant was so slow I had to take a bagel to go in the end.

Nice, comfy rooms. Ate dinner in the pub. One of the best burgers ever. My husband had fish n chips. He loved them. They make a good Moscow Mule. The location is great. Had a wonderful breakfast on the dining room. The staff wa very friendly and we had a wonderful experience.
