Breakfast with premium coffee on the patio amidst a country town with friendly local folk on a beautiful summer morning after an amazing rest at The Pollard. Doesn't get better than this❣Although the evenings offer great live music and with the beverage of your choosing from the bar it too is a delightful treat. Great place in the center of... More

If you want to stay right in the middle of town this is place to stay. We are travelling on a motorcycle so we like to be able to park up and walk around to all the bars and restaurants and this is exactly what you can do at this hotel. The hotel rooms are slightly dated but all very... More

Lots of gorgeous woodwork in the lobby, bar and dining room. Staff was accommodating, but the rooms were slightly tacky. The bathroom had black mold in the soap compartments of the shower, missing floor tile, and skewed ceiling tiles. The worst part was the antiquated a/c heating unit was the loudest we have ever heard, and couldn't be shut off... More

We stayed two nights at The Pollard and couldn't have been happier with their staff, dining room and our accommodations. They have a comfortable sitting room, off the main lobby, with reading material and old world photos that added a nice touch. Breakfast was included and my husband and I both had eggs benedict and it was terrific. The hotel... More

We've eaten here a few times over the years and never been disappointed. Food is good, service reliable, setting in Red Lodge historic. Eggs benedict this time, real hollandaise, but have also had their pancakes and maple syrup. A little pricey, but not unusually so for a hotel.

The Pollard was a good stay - free parking, free breakfast and an overall great time. The town is really cool historic and feels like you are in the Wild West. The staff was all really kind and attentive - the wifi didn't work at all so that was only downfall but the hotel was nice and rooms were cozy.... More

The Pollard: just such a treat to stay in an old historic hotel that is clean, well managed, and beautiful. Accommodating , friendly employees. Dining room for breakfast was quiet full but the staff worked hard to make us feel welcome, and the food was perfect.

The Pollard is like stepping back in time but with modern luxury. The rooms are now larger and have been upgraded since my last visit. i like the charm of the building and the very friendly staff. Braekfast is excellent but on one day there was a bit of a staff shortage but I guess that was just a one... More

The Pollard is an elegant, historic hotel with a fascinating back-story. I encourage anyone staying at or visiting the hotel to spend time in the reading room - look at the old guest register and the photos displayed around the room and you will find yourself in the old Wild West with characters such as Buffalo Bill and Calamity Jane.... Overall elegant hotel but room was dated for the amount charged. I would have given the hotel 4 or 5 stars if the room had not cost $170. I think a more realistic cost based on other hotels we stayed at in small towns in Montana would be $100 - $120. The cost did include a full breakfast in the... More
