Absolutely best hotel stay we have had in years. We were greeted by an incredibly friendly couple who we assume are the owners. The bed was so comfortable we didn't want to get out of it. Once we did, we didn't want to get out of the shower. Great soaps, hot shower lots of room! Then we went for breakfast. Cooked to order and again extremely friendly staff! Delicious too - they know how to make a pancake!! Impeccably clean all the way around! No question, we will be back!!

When we arrived tired after our last day at Yellowstone, the front desk was so nice and helpful. We had two rooms the adjoined. She suggested a great place for dinner and asked if we wanted a campfire when we got back. We had all the smore fixin's so of course. It was PERFECT! The rooms were clean, beds super comfy, showers and bathroom were great and to top it off, a breakfast is included for each room. And coffee bar is set up as well. We will surely stay again next time in the area.

Very comfortable stay. There can be many reasons for a rating of 5 and for the Alpine Lodge its because of the wonderful people, the very comfortable room, beautiful grounds and the attention to detail. Nothing pretentious, just great service, friendly staff, good cooked to order breakfasts (comes with the room) and homestyle BBQ dinners. Thanks to Larry and Trish for a wonderful stay.

If you’re going into Yellowstone from Montana, the Aline Lodge in Red Lodge is a perfect stopover. The family owned lodge units are immaculately kept and well appointed. Ideal for COVID wary guests. Everything is highly sanitized. A hearty breakfast is included. Ask Larry the owner to build a wood fire at the fire pit in the evening- a great way to end the day. Make sure you take the Beartooth Highway on your way to the national parks. It’s 60 miles of amazing scenery. You will not be disappointed with the Alpine Lodge experience.

We had a fabulous overnight stay at Alpine Lodge in a second floor, double queen room. The view from the shared balcony was breathtaking! The rooms were standard motel style, but extra clean and comfortable. Thank you, Lucie, for doing such a wonderful job keeping our room spotless. At check in the staff took extra precautions to ensure public safety during these unique times. They were friendly and helpful, ready with restaurant and hiking recommendations. After a comfortable nights rest, Larry helped serve up a delicious, filling breakfast in the morning. The menu choices included pancakes, waffles, breakfast burritos, and homemade biscuits & gravy. Well rested and well fed, we were ready to explore Beartooth. See you again soon, Alpine Lodge!
