I've posted how great Chico is from previous visits, but we returned earlier this week and it's even better. Soaking in the springs, the 'Hot Wada' as Chico laughingly calls the springs, is just wonderful. Dinner in their restaurant is fabulous. And if you think I've overindulged in the use of adjectives....go try it out! A tip is to call... More

Classic old hotel and resort tucked into the Absaroka Mnts south of Livingston Mont. We go here a lot to hang at the cool old bar and swim in an underground-fed thermal hot springs featuring a small hot pool and larger, cooler big pool adjoining on the large outdoor deck. Pool can get very crowded at times, often overly so... More

Chico is an oasis in Paradise Valley. I have been enjoying Chico since I was a small child - Easter Brunch annually for years. My husband and I live out of state now, but had a destination wedding at Chico 3 years ago. 100 guests from all over the nation gathered for an amazing event. We recently had a "reunion"... More

I have been going to Chico Hot Springs since 2001. I have many. Many fond memories. This place is like an oasis in some very gorgeous mountains. I've partied in the saloon. Soaked in the pools. Had fantastic meals. Never disappoints. Stayed in pretty much every type of room they have. Including the big house many times. Favorite room is... More

My husband, son, and I stayed at Chico 9 years ago when our son was 14 (we were visiting Yellowstone). We loved it then and came back this month with him again (he's 23 and had spent the summer working in Bozeman). Chico was just the same (not the fanciest place you'll ever go, but in such a beautiful location... More

Wonderful place, especially if you have teenagers. Fun to walk the grounds, beautiful scenery. Enjoyed the horses, even though we didn't have time to ride them. The grill and saloon serve good food. Didn't eat in the upscale restaurant as we heard it was overpriced. We stayed at the Fisherman's Lodge, which I highly recommend.

This is the second time we have been to this resort. The last time was in the winter. It is more lovely in the summer. The hot springs are excellent and so is the food. The main restaurant has great food and so does the grill. The bar is a fun place to go at night. They have many activities... More

We have been here many times! It is always a pleasant experience to spend time in the pool - hot pool and cooler one. It is so historical and wonderful there. I've never spent the night in the hotel but the dinners there are excellent. Try the ice cream cones at the snack bar by the pool. They are huge... More

This unique, historic resort has special significance for my family. So of course, we wanted to stay here while attending a reunion nearby. There's a lot of info to share about our experience but I will try to keep it as brief and helpful as possible. POSITIVES: 1) Location- beautiful Paradise Valley, close to the north enterance to Yellowstone. 2)... More
