Chico Hot Springs is a very nice small resort located off the beaten path near a tiny little "don't blink or you will miss it" town called Pray, Montana. The resort is known for their natural hot water springs that come from the Earth. Soaking in the pools is amazing! I brought those floating noodle things with and they were...

We spent two nights at the resort. In all honesty, I was expecting the hot springs to be a little more than a very large pool with hot water. Don't get me wrong it was wonderful, I was just expecting more atmosphere. We had dinner in the restaurant-wonderful! We had Beef Wellington with a great bottle of wine. Service was...

The Chico Hot Springs Resort has a history. It has been in existence for a long time. Their service is top notch. The resort is isolated and an entity unto itself. there are many options from cabins to motels ,to the historic resort, to individual homes....something for everyone. We stayed in the old resort in a large room with a...

My husband and I did the winter getaway and stayed in Isabella's cabin, it was perfect. We have never been before but will be returning for sure. It was so relaxing, I had zero complaints, and the gift shop had some of the best lotions.

We spent one night here, and it almost felt like we'd stepped back in time. Positives - The reception area has a wood burning fireplace that keeps everything cozy in the winter. Each room is a little bit different (from what I could see peeking into rooms that were being cleaned) with a secretary, dresser, and brass (?) bed frames....

We stayed here for 1 night after a trip to Yellowstone. I was looking forward to a "resort" type atmosphere, but I did not find it at Chico Hot Springs Resort. Our room was similar to a roadside motel. No tv, no phone, a heating system that ran HOT or cold, thin walls and cheap linens. The hot spring pool...

We stayed in the wing off the main lodge for 5 days in September. Staff is excellent and food in the restaurant is very good (I only had breakfast there). Catering and meeting space is excellent. Rooms are basic, but nice. A bit of a shortage of hot water, regardless of time of day. Pool is wonderful. Food at the...

We stayed at Chico Hot Springs for 2 nights in mid November. The first night was very nice. We had a delicious dinner and all the staff were very friendly. The second night however took a turn....I kept hearing sounds during the night and kept telling myself the heater must be making noices, maybe something outside??? Then around 3:30 I...

The short story on Chico is that it's top-flight compared with Montana resorts, but don't expect the luxuries of top-flight U.S. resorts. What Chico provides -- and does well at -- is Montana "rustic." Staff are friendly and professional, but you won't find greeters, bellhops, or concierge service. Rooms are pleasantly Western but also Western spare in decor. Very few...

Chico Hot Springs Resort is about an hour's drive from Bozeman, MT. Nestled at the mouth of a canyon road at the foot of the Absaroke Range, this is a historic mountain resort with many activities and services. We had visited before to use the hot springs, but elected to stay a night following the Thanksgiving Holiday with friends. First:...
