Second visit to Chico Hot Springs, this time with friends in tow. We love the quirky, old-time, non- glitzy feel of this off-the-beaten-track place. Yes, it can get crowded, but you really have to WANT to get here. The rooms in the main 1920's era building are small, a bit worn, with few amenities. But, the quaintness is the attraction.... More

We were here for a wedding and the staff are all very pleasant for sure. The accommodations were average as they are tired and pretty out of style which is what they are going for but the bed sheets and beds need an upgrade to be more comfy. The resort doesn't seem to put much money into the accommodations. The... More

Too many rooms not ready at check in time, some folks in our party had to wait close to two hours. Single room on the first floor shouldn't exist. It's the size of a closet with tons of noise from the hallway and the outside. Quite rude hostess at dinner. Other servers fabulous. Meal was great.

This is truly a Montana gem. It lies in the Paradise Valley, which runs south to Yellowstone Park. It's a bit off the beaten path, but worth the trip. You can make a day trip just to enjoy the hot springs swimming, live music at the bar, and food at the restaurant and Poolside Cafe, or you can stay overnight... More

We arrived at 8 am when they open to day trippers. It is about 20 miles from Gardiner. Old timey resort. If you like old (but maintained) buildings, you too will love this place. $7.50 for a visitor day pass, which I felt was very reasonable. Rooms look sweet and quaint. Like stepping back in time. There is a large... More

Chico Springs is a classic American resort, with a friendly atmosphere and casual and comfortable setting. We stayed in the caboose and enjoyed the spacious room and quiet setting. The large pool, heated by the hot spring, is just right for a relaxing afternoon. There are also activities such as trail rides, rafting, fly fishing, and a spa. We had... More

We stayed just one night as we travelled from Yellowstone to Glacier and were disappointed that we didn't have more time to enjoy the facilities. We had a super cabin which was clearly relatively new. The design and layout were superb with everything you need ( there was no tv but that can be a good thing). Internet was v... More

Stayed 2 nights & had 2 different rooms - 1st was a king in the Warren wing - nothing fancy, very hard pillows. 2nd night was 2 queens in the Fishermans lodge. Liked that room better but a hike to the front desk. No phones, no teevee but wifi works well. No air conditioning but fans in every room. The... More

The "resort" is similar to a youth hostel-----small rooms with small beds and no amenities, just bare bones rooms. It lacks any modern amenities and has apparently survived on a reputation of many years past. Our room was in the so-called new section which we later discovered was more than twenty years old. The room was large and dark, even... More
