We were FINALLY able to get our kids home from college over the Holidays. A rare event. We took the opportunity to return to The Ranch as a family to spend New Year's. My wife and I had been previously and we thought this would be the perfect place to celebrate New Year's

We would give the Ranch at Rock Creek six stars if we were allowed. Undoubtedly the best hospitality experience we have ever enjoyed. The website does the whole experience justice, so we will focus on the things you can't see there. The atmosphere is amazingly relaxed and

Thank you for such wonderful comments, we’ll be sure to share throughout the Ranch, especially with our Rod&Gun and Culinary teams! So thrilled that you enjoyed our Cowboy Breakfast, a summer only season event that is also our favorite here on Ranch! We very much look forward to having the family back, and we’ll be sure to talk to TripAdvisor about getting a “six star” option built for our guests :)

I predicate this review by saying that I have been to some pretty amazing and spectacular places around the globe. Paris, London, Sydney, Tokyo and more rural places like New Zealand and western Canada and stayed in some very swanky properties. That being said, this is one of

Dear Just M, We are so glad he had a great time with us. I'm glad you enjoyed the private, tailored activities we offer. We find that makes a big difference in your experience and most importantly it allows our experienced guides to get you proficient in a short amount of time. I'm also thrilled to hear you caught a glimpse of one of our neighborhood moose. They are the highlight of many guests' trips and I still haven't gotten tired of seeing them either. Thank you for thinking of us while you're at home but please don't let your backyard replace the need for a trip back. We would love to have you return. Best regards, Jon Martin General Manager

Best vacation my wife and I have taken. Activities and food amazing! The most impressive aspect however is the staff. Defines 5 star experience. All that and spending time in on a ranch with the most picturesque backdrop drove up our experience to 10 stars.

We recently returned from our 2nd trip during the exact same window last year. I was initially a little worried about this trip because it is exceedingly rare for any experience the second time around to live up to memories of an incredible first experience that then

STKtravel19, We here at The Ranch can honestly say that this review was the "cherry on top" for an incredible year. Your thoughtfulness and attention of detail to each encounter has truly made each of us on Ranch feel extra special through the holiday season. The state motto of your home with "Everything is bigger in Texas" carries over to your incredible generosity with the above praise. We are grateful for your two visits so far, and very much look forward to seeing you again soon. Justin Robbins Director of Operations

Is the ranch gay friendly?
Yes! They were very sensitive about everyone's relationship status. I travelled with my best friend and they were super nice about "feeling out" whether or not we were a couple. You'd be welcomed and charmed :)

Think of a girls trip the end of March. What's the weather like?
Hi, thank you for your interest in a girls' getaway. The end of March usually sees highs in the low 50s and lows in the high 20s. The mountains will still be beautifully covered with snow and there may be snow in the valley as well. It's a great time to relax in the Spa, go snowshoeing in the hills, and enjoy your evenings by the fire.

Hi, I do not think a car rental is needed. There is a town to go into, very small, however, I am sure the car service will take you in there for a few hours.
