We just arrived back home from out Montana vacation. First stop, we flew into Missoula and decided to stay at Blue Mountain Bed & Breakfast. This is such a lovely place. I can tell the love poured into it and it really shows! The home is wonderful, warm and inviting the people were amazing, we really enjoyed meeting some of the pets! We stayed in the house in the Ponderosa Room and it was fantastic! Bed was comfortable, loved the fireplace (electric wall unit, super warm and cozy) and the clincher is the private balcony with amazing views. I would definitely stay again, this is a true gem! Thank you all so much for making our stay absolutely perfect!!

We spent one night while on a five week cross country camping trip. As retirees, we travel with a tiny camper but now and then like to splurge on a B & B, Air BB or interesting hotel. This trip is a bit different during the pandemic as we have not gone into any restaurant, visitor center or museum. Brady followed all state recommendations by wearing a mask. We were able to enjoy our breakfast outdoors and a terrific breakfast it was, especially the toasted almond French toast and fresh honeydew melon. Our room had a private balcony (a bit of highway noise) where we could enjoy our local carry out burger and bottle of wine for dinner the previous evening. Brady also accommodated us by allowing us to park our camper at property down the hill-quite the hill!

We had an amazing stay at the Blue Mountain B&B! My Girlfriend and I chose to take advantage of our weekend off together which also happened to fall on the same weekend of our 10 months together. We both are "essential workers" during the covid quarantine and it was business as usual on top of the added stresses and obstacles of the pandemic so we both felt the need to take a break to reset a little. Blue Mountain B&B was the perfect place to do that! The lodge was very clean and extremely well furnished. We had the place to ourselves that weekend so we played a round of pool upstairs in the common room, soaked in the jetted tub, checked out their extensive movie collection and took a walk around the property to see the waterfall and pond. It's located in such a way that you feel like you're out far off from anyone that could bother you yet you overlook the river that runs along the highway at the bottom of the mountain. Also its only a short drive to Missoula so getting snacks and beverages is a quick trip! The breakfast that Brady(the host) served us was top notch! We had huckleberry topped German pancakes with fruit salad and some amazing sausage and scrambled eggs along with some great coffee and orange juice to wash it all down. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get away from everyday life for a couple days... or more. Also would be a great place to hold retreats for groups or as a special getaway for couples. Well priced for the amount of effort put into the property and the service that Brady provides. We already want to go back!

My sister and I got the 2 rooms (on the same floor) in the separate cabin. We stayed 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The rooms have everything you need, including comfy queen beds, water-jet bathtubs, and great views. No TV though, which we wanted a break from anyway. There are easily more than 100 DVDs to choose from upstairs in the rec room (there are DVD players in the rooms). Had great breakfasts and conversation with Brady. But be aware that we found the highway there to be much busier than we’d imagined, although the lodging is fairly well insulated from the traffic by a steep gravel road of about a quarter mile.

We are locals and just wanted a relaxing night for our leap day anniversary. With a newborn at home it was just far enough to make us feel like we got out of town without worrying about being too far from home.

Brady was a wonderful host. The room was perfect. We were impressed with how much natural light there is with the numerous windows. The jacuzzi tub and artificial fireplace made relaxing easy.

Breakfast was amazing. Brady made German puff pancakes with huckleberries, sausage and eggs, coffee and juice.

We will definitely return and recommend to our friends and family that are visiting or just need a night or two to themselves.

My husband and I stayed at the Blue Mountain B&B for 4 nights in February. The location is great just outside of the busy downtown of Missoula. Up high on the mountain, you have a great view of the city and the mountains surrounding it. Brady cooks up impressive, delicious breakfasts each morning. You can watch the stellar jays and other creatures come to the feeders while you eat. Our room was comfy and clean. It’s a great place to stay within 5 minutes of town.

Brady & Elaine provided us with the perfect respite toward the end of a long journey. Views were stunning and breakfasts were culinary delights. The bed was a dream. We stayed in the Lodge where a common room is outfitted with cozy couches, table and chairs, fridge, coffeemaker, cool books, and pool table! Our dogs enjoyed the remote location. They got very excited at a flock of wild turkeys. There were many birds to see and hear - that was a treat. The deck outside the breakfast area is surrounded by bird feeders so you can watch while you eat. Staying at Blue Mountain was an unforgettable experience.

We are so happy we came across Blue Mountain Bed & Breakfast! When you read the reviews about how delicious the breakfasts are, believe them. One of us has special dietary requirements being gluten-free and my husband (who is not gluten-free) tasted each of mine and couldn’t even tell the difference they were so scrumptious. There are also so many varieties of birds outside, we enjoyed watching them as we ate our breakfast (this bed & breakfast is pet friendly, and although we didn’t bring ours with us, it was one of the many reasons we selected to stay here). The breakfasts alone deserve 5 Stars, but that would leave out the superb service. We were there a week and had the pleasure of chatting with both Brady & Andrea on different days of our stay, and got a lot of fantastic recommendations during our trip. Brady even provided a map and drew out for us various routes to different sites which was super helpful. We stayed in the Ponderosa room in the main house, it has incredible mountain views! We’d finish our breakfast and take our delicious coffee & tea (they have many varieties of teas to choose from) to the private deck on our room and thoroughly enjoy just sitting and taking in the beauty that surrounded us. The king sized bed was super comfortable and we slept great. They also have a common area in the lodge that has a pool table, games, DVD’s that can be enjoyed by all guests (it was also nice to sit and relax for a bit in the common room and look out at the spectacular views). Getting to downtown Missoula is easy and close, yet you are far enough away that you get to unwind. We went on a few all-day excursions and after those long days, it honestly felt like coming home. When we return to Montana, we won’t even hesitate with where we will be staying.

On a cold winter's day our host our host, Brady greeted us with a welcoming smile then upgraded us to the king suite, complimentary. A firm, king size bed, soft, fluffly pillows, thick oversized towels, a jetted tub, and a cozy sitting area with endless DVD's invited us to sit awhile and relax. Upstairs we played pool, admired the art work, parused the books, and enjoyed the view. An eclectic pub in Lolo, just a short drive down the mountain was fun for safe dining out. Breakfast of German pancakes and perfectly cooked herb flavored scrambled eggs started our morning off in the right direction. Brady out did himself to ensure that we had everything that we needed.

We don't do B&B's very often. Mostly because we are pretty private and B&B's are not normally that way. But this place was great. Out room was very private with only one other room in the building. We stayed in the building that housed the game room. Which we used to play card in the evenings. We had a great view of Montana so much so we didn't draw the blinds so we could see each day start fresh. The host were fantastic helpful but not in your face at all. The breakfasts were over the top and could be served at any five star hotel in the world. The drive up the hill took a bit of getting used to and though there was some road noise by the highway way down the hill was not so bad. This is a place you have to stay. You will have a great time.
