Detailed Reviews
This is a very clean, well-run hotel. The location is closer to the airport so you have to drive into town to do stuff but the property has a small indoor waterpark. The service was very friendly and our room was very nice. It was a suite that was very roomy with a huge living area separate from the bedroom. I highly recommend staying here.

Picked this specific hotel for the Waterpark. Check in was interesting...I think someone was having a rough day. Glad she was the only one at the desk with issues. All other staff was very helpful and polite. Rooms are large and clean. Water slides were fun but not much room for actual swimming. Hot tub was relaxing but they do have stiff rules about use and occupancy. Arm bands required from front desk to use the pool which would have been helpful if they had given them to us at check in. Breakfast was good and quick so we were able to quickly get back on the road.

With Missoula winters being brutal (not as much this year as most) I decided to book a room at the newly remodeled Marriott property even though I live in Missoula. It was everything I needed and more. Kids loved the water park, breakfast was good and well rounded! Staff was very friendly and accommodating.. rooms clean and modern! Can’t wait to do another staycation in the future!

OK first, the rooms are large and clean, the lobby is inviting and staff is friendly. Breakfast was a good choice of items and they even had scrambled eggs, bacon and quiche.
I think this is geared towards families, there is a water park with slides and I think a lot of families use those for staycations etc. I personally wouldn't stay here again, there was too much running on the floors, kids screaming and we had a herd of bison above us, as there was stomping, running, jumping off the bed/couch happening and there was no sleep after 6am. Those places have thin walls and ceilings and parents should really be aware and make sure their kids are not running and jumping if they already are on the top floor.
I was also stunned about the $10 parking fee, we've stayed in busier spots in Missoula with no fees all the time. It's my fault, didn't read the fine print. It's in a business park, tons of free street parking all over. Wish I had caught that at check-in and I would have moved the car a couple of feet outside their parking lot. They also charge an "oversized" parking fee of $20 in case you come with an RV or trailer. Call that nickel and diming.
Great stop if you got kids, not sure I would stay there again as a couple needing sleep for a long drive home.

When we first arrived( at 10pm) things were going OK. The pool was closed so my kids were bummed but knew they could swim the next day. The front desk lady was polite. Because we got in late we had wanted a late check out. The next morning while getting ready the front desk called and said we couldn't have a late check out. She was rude and didn't seem to eager to help resolve any situation. She then told me the hotel was full and there was no way for us to be there. I had 4 kids with me on Easter Sunday. I asked her if we paid for another room if we could stay and she changed her story about it being full. We gathered up our things and I called to discuss the new room. She said I didn't get down there soon enough to talk to her. I asked her for the supervisors number to ask her some questions. Without getting into a ton of detail the front desk lady was rude, dismissive and didn't know what customer service meant. At one point she even laughed and said she could handle the situation at hand. Which she couldn't do Cleary. So $400 later we didn't get to use the pool and had to travel to a new hotel to get 2 different rooms. Working in customer service before there were many alternative things she could have done better. I will not be returning there any time soon if ever. She was condescending when she spoke to me or my family. The house keeper I met was great. Very kind. The ice machine didn't work. The TV wouldn't change channels and the walls and floors don't seem to have much insulation. You could hear everything out in the hallway all night

Hello Tyler, I am very sorry that you were unhappy with your stay. Unfortunately this is one of those situations where we did not have your rooms available for an additional night. Because you were in the only two rooms on the property that adjoin and have two queen beds, they had been specifically requested for an incoming reservation. Beyond that, I am sure you are aware that your interactions with a variety of our staff members and behaviors around the building made the situation very difficult. I am glad that you were able to find another hotel, and wish you the best in your future travels.

My family stayed at the Fairfield Inn for a little waterpark staycation and it was perfect! We met up with friends and were able to get rooms right next to each other. The breakfast was phenomenal but the waterpark is the best feature. I have a very brave 2.5 year old who doesn’t typically get to go on “big kid” slides. She loved going down the “big kid” slides all by herself and just had the best time. They even have a camera so you can watch your kids as they hangout at the top waiting for their turn! Highly recommend the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Missoula!

We stayed one night here on a Friday night. We had a class on the campus which was only a few minutes drive on away. There is an indoor water park and from our room I didn't see, hear or smell it....that's a win. Surprisingly enough, to be right near the airport, we heard one helicopter and one plane. The hotel is right off the interstate, but traffic quiets down during the overnight. The room was spacious and very clean. My only knock is that we couldn't get the A/C to work. The A/C blew out hot air. We slept with the windows open, which did have some noise, but not enough to keep us up at night. We'd stay here a again.

A delightful blend of relaxation, adventure, romance, awaits at the Fairfield Inn. Highly recommended! Complementary Wi-Fi throughout the property allowed us to stay connected. The front desk help us arrange all the extras. It’s ideally situated near local attractions has a pool and waterslide for the kids. We explored nearby, hiking trails and visited the carousel in downtown Missoula. The hotel was the perfect place for our stay in Missoula.
