I am disabled and require a mobility scooter or motorized wheelchair to walk more than 10 steps. Have a degenerative disease & had multiple failed surgeries. If i walk, i use a cane or walker and only for very short distances because i fall and deal with debilitating pain. As a disabled person it is hard to travel solo but most people are very friendly and eager to help. It’s nice knowing that i can ask a stranger to help with luggage, etc, and never have to worry about being stuck doing something I can’t. I’ve only had one hotel tell me they won’t help; cancelled my stay & went somewhere else. Wish i could have done that tonight… When i parked my car in a disabled parking spot, noticed a man in a nearby vehicle watching me. It was very unnerving and strange—I’m a disabled woman. I am always very aware of my surroundings because of past incidents that put me in scary situations. I checked into the hotel and went up to my room first. Next went to ask the front desk for help with my luggage. They were busy and asked me to wait a few minutes. Another guest offered to help so I wouldn’t have to wait. We went to my car to get my luggage. The creepy guy was still at his truck staring at me again—at least someone was with me. The kind gentleman loaded up my 2 suitcases onto a cart and followed me to my room. Very thankful for his help! Forgot to grab some food out of my car. Went back to the car…the creep was still at his truck and staring. I tried to be as quick as possible & called my husband so he was aware of the situation. Creepy man comes up to me and says: Are you disabled? Me: Yes. Creepy man: I saw you stand up and take your wheelchair out of your car. You’re not disabled you’re faking it! He proceeded to yell all sorts of other egregious comments about me. He ended it by saying: people like you gaming the system are why this country is going down the toilet. You’re not disabled you fake! You don’t need that wheelchair you fake! (nicer words than he actually used) I said to him: did you not see the man who retrieved my luggage because im disabled? Creepy man: who the bald $&?#? This man was about 6’2, very big, very scary and intimidating. My safety was being compromised by another guest. I told the front desk what happened and they didn’t think it was a big deal. I asked them to remove the guest because he compromised my safety. They refused…honestly i think they were too scared to confront the guest. So i called the non emergency police line to see what i could do and have this reported in case the creep tried anything else. The police said unfortunately only the hotel has the power and discretion to remove the guest. They can’t do anything unless he attacks me. But they emphasized that the hotel can remove him IF THEY WANT. The hotel tried to tell me that the police need to remove him. Basically they wanted to wash their hands of any responsibility. Also, i called the IHG Customer Care line. The automated line told me i would receive a call back in 7 minutes; called back 2-3 hours later. I told them what happened, they put me on hold for 10 minutes, then came back on the line to let me know the assistant front desk manager would call me within 24 hours. More passing the buck and zero resolution. What a joke, waste of my time. Should have known better; read the millions of customer complaints about IHG online. This is one of many reasons why i RARELY stay at an IHG hotel. Being in Missoula MT there weren’t many choices…worst customer service and no care for the customer’s safety. I won’t be passing my bucks at any future IHG properties and ill be sure to note my experience using their hashtag #ExperienceIHG on IG, Facebook & Twitter.

Pet Fee is $75. Beware! That’s the price of a hotel room! The amount should be posted on the website so guests know prior to checking in. Other than that, the front desk check-in clerks were friendly. Smaller kitchen than expected with a two-bed queen suite. However, It was a nice room, as always, with Staybridge Suites. Just leave Fido at home.

My son and I had the pleasure of staying here for two nights. Too bad it was only for two nights! There’s so much to do in Missoula, and this hotel has a good, central location. There are lots of things to do and places to eat nearby. Our room had a nice view of the Dairy Queen, wonder what’s happening there? Every time we looked out our window, there were at least 8 cars in their drive thru! We also had a view of the mountains, but not a real close and clear view, there are other buildings very close to this one. We did have a nice view of the sky and we were able to watch the big pink full moon rise. This hotel was new and very clean and nice, the staff were friendly and helpful. Especially the breakfast staff. This was the best breakfast that we had on our nearly 3 weeks long journey, stayed at multiple IHG properties. The waffles with fresh fruit and whipped cream, and the fresh fruit cups were our favorites. We had fresh berries, melons, and pineapples with our breakfast. Wish I had more right now! We will stay here again soon, hopefully!

I booked this room for the first floor and asked for the nicest king size suite available, two weeks prior through there hotel booking department. We pleaded with them when we got there because the receptionist couldn’t give us a 1st floor room. She said (You requested a first floor room but we don’t have any) I didn’t understand because I booked this weeks ago. Then we got our room and it was just a queen bed and small kitchenette very small not at all the best or near the best room and not even a king size bed I definitely requested. I asked again the next day for a room change and the receptionist was so rude and no first floor suites. I showers and my husband after me showered and we only had 1 towel. I called the receptionist and asked for more towels than 1 and she said I had to come downstairs to get them. Why on earth is there only 1 towel and they won’t bring you up more you have to get them yourself. The hot breakfast is really bad like questionable if you should eat the eggs . The do have other food like yogurt and fruit that’s fine and the breakfast staff is friendly. The pool .... well no one tells you this until your trying to open unlock the door to go swimming, your key doesn’t work for the pool , you have to get a special key from the receptionist and lol you have to make a reservation to go swimming, thankfully no one was in the pool because otherwise in our bathing suites would of had to get the bad news your not going swimming and wait our tern . I payd 200 a night for a basic room and a hot questionable breakfast and , Crappy rude service. The marrot next door has a much bigger pool and nicer rooms for 159. Never again will I stay there this was supposed to be a weekend getaway for my husband birthday . this was so frustrating . I don’t usually do reviews. Oh and tiny freezing pool.

The only drawback to staying in this hotel is it's distance from the University campus. Has all the amenities you'd desire for a week or longer visit to the area. Friendly and helpful staff. Dog friendly. Has a great breakfast selection, cocktail hour in house options, business center, pool, hot tub, and free laundry access to all guest. Soft bed, had a double pillow top, and extra pillows in the closet if desired. The heating and cooling units were confusing, and inconsistent, but effective.
