Recently stayed at BCL - outstanding place to spend a few nights. Very comfortable, very easy to get to, reasonably close access to great fly fishing streams. Excellent kitchen the Owners are wonderful, very attentive to every one of our requests. Highly recommend the BCL to anyone travelling into Missoula.

I'm not usually a B&B kind of person. Some places have the owner staying in the same house with you and I am uncomfortable with that level of intimacy. Butler Creek was the perfect place for us. The Lodge is separate from the owner's home, providing just enough privacy for us feel like the only people around for miles. The... More

Large gracious house, well-equipped kitchen, new bathrooms (4!), good lighting in the bedrooms, and plenty of space indoors and out with a stream, fire pit located just outside downtown Missoula and 10 minutes from the airport. We held a rehearsal dinner there but it would also work for weddings, family reunions, graduations, etc. Dorinda and Dennis were gracious hosts and... More

On our 2-week trip, this was our favorite overnight. Butler Creek was by far the best accommodations with the best hosts. We were booked into the suite, but ended up in the lodge since it had not been booked for that night. Having the washers & dryers was a great bonus as were the breakfast items provided by our hosts.... More

Butler Creek Lodge may have been the best part of my bucket list Montana fly fishing trip. The lodge is absolutely impeccable and Dennis and Dorinda (the Ina Garten of Missoula) treat you like family. The food and decorating attention to detail is truly amazing. My buddy Mike and I will now make this an annual event. Thank you so... More

This turned out to be an oasis on our long road trip home from Yellowstone to Seattle. The owners were incredibly sweet and gracious. We lucked out and had the entire house to ourselves. All the conveniences of home were right where we needed them. The B&B feels remote, but is only a few minutes out of town. This was... More

1 year ago and last week 11 of us stayed while flyfishing. Dori and Dennis are great and so accommodating. Breakfast when we needed to fit our schedule. And so many other little things. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Recently we had a group of friends (8) attend the Paul McCartney concert in Missoula, MT. We stayed at the Butler Creek Lodge and had a fantastic time. Dorinda and Dennis greeted us upon arrival and as Dorinda showed us around the lodge Dennis put on some Beatles music to get everyone geared up for the concert. They really added... More

A perfect for location for 11 fly fishing women to stay. The lodge is set up so everyone had their own bed which is hard to find for a large group. The location is beautiful with nice lawn, picnic table, and chairs to relax in while sharing stories about the days fishing. It was a quick 20 minute drive to... More

Picturesque location, spacious and comfortable lodge with everything you could need. The location is about 20 min from downtown Missoula and right in the middle of beautiful countryside with access to great hiking trails in Forest Service land. Our group was on a work trip, but we all wished we'd had longer here!
