it was clean and the shower had strong stream. and the bed was comfortable. this place was more like a weekly rental, the parking lot sucked, did not get a wake up call, the walls were paper thin, there was rust on bath tub and the chair was broken, alot of dents and dings. not enough plug ins and no password on net

Staying here long term for business. Owner helpful but English as a second language and kind of hard to understand. The hotel was actually recommended to me by an employee of another hotel who stated the "Owner is a really nice and has made some recent updates." Good rates. Not as close to eating places as other hotels but small town an still not too far.

I checked into the Western Motel (for a business trip) on Tuesday, 9/10/2019 and checked out on Friday, 9/13/2019. My first impression was unprofessional service administered by the front desk person. I was given a key to my room (111) and the WiFi password and sent on my way. Upon entering the room, it was cold (even for early/ mid September) and the heater wouldn’t kick on. The room was pretty small compared to my typical hotel room (I’m in hotels roughly 120–180 nights a year due to my occupation). The bathroom was also small and cramped. The bed was very stiff as were the pillows. I checked the mattress for bed bugs (and thank goodness there were none). I went to bed (relatively) early but was woken up around 11:30 PM by screaming children and parents in the parking lot... this commotion went on for about 10 minutes. Then again, I was woken up at around 2:15 PM by someone bumping loud bass track music in the parking lot (my point here is there is not much by the way of sound insulation in the exterior walls). The parking lot is very crammed and pretty confusing due to it not having arrows indicating one way traffic patterns (because the roadway is literally only wide enough for one car and the cars parked in the spots). Fortunately I was able to rely on the Mobile Hotspot on my phone for an internet connection for work on the computer while in the room; because the Motel WiFi certainly didn’t work for me. The towels in the bathroom were rough enough to easily scrape the dead skin off your feet if you forgot your pumice stone at home. And (Dear-Lord) please don’t drink the water from the tap... go to the gas station down the road (about 3/4 mile) and get bottles of water. The water smells like brimstone or sulfur (I mean, seriously... brush your teeth with bottled water, take my word for it). Overall - You Should Not Stay Here... I would never stay here again! Ever! Thanks and Best Regards, —SP

A friend and I randomly decided to do an overnight stop in Hardin, MT. This is a quiet little freeway town that definitely has been sliding the wrong way. As such, our motel was on par. The outdoor appearance was "weathered" to say the least, but comparatively speaking, the price was right. Free Wi-Fi here, but the signal was so weak, it was barely usable (downstairs room in corner). Also, our cell phones wouldn't connect while in the room. The room itself has signs of age, but wasn't too bad. Our room had a small TV mounted on the wall. The bathroom too was showing it's age. The bed was good and the room was clean. Nice desk staff. There's not much around the location...I think there was a convenient store next door. Although parking wasn't an issue, it could use a better layout...it was a little tight No serious objections to staying here again as long as the price is reasonable (less than $60 ngt).

First impressions were not great, the outside stairways had not seen a brush in many weeks. However, the room was better. Perfectly clean and had everything we needed. Microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Staff pleasant and friendly. Advertised as breakfast included, but that is not the case. No big problem as plenty of places to eat.
