We stayed for a week. Room was clean & spacious, the king size bed was some what hard but comfortable. The door to enter the room was tricky, you insert the key card and pull up (not down) on the handle. Sometimes it opened, sometimes not and you had to try again and the door would not automatically close, different for sure. There was no daily straighten up/clean the room, you had to ask for fresh towels or change of sheets. The bathroom sink leaked all over the counter plus water leaked from underneath onto the floor. The tv was challenging to turn on & off. The view from our room was the conference building roof about 2 feet away from the window, someone has to get that room at $122 a night, right? Lucky us! The pool & exercise room was closed. The breakfast consisted of OJ, V-8, instant oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, cutie oranges, bananas and breakfast bars plus coffee. Staff was quite pleasant.
In "normal times" it's probably a really nice hotel.
We would stay again.

TCWatson, I want to thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and for choosing to stay with us during your week vacation to Hamilton! I'm glad that you overall had a clean and comfortable stay with us. I'm very sorry to hear about some of the issues you encountered. This is surprising to us and we will address and fix these issues right away. I apologize that we are unable to provide our normal complimentary breakfast buffet at this time. We are hoping to have this available soon. We're happy that you will be staying with us again and we can't wait to provide you a 5 star stay.

First, the best: friendly people and cozy lobby with fireplace, heated pool with sauna & hot tub and good breakfast. Having said this, there were things that left me unhappy: like, coming back and finding only one of the bed has been made, or housekeeping service at any given hour without much scheduling. But, let’s give them credit where credit is due: they did started handing out bag breakfast, when the dining room had to close due to the virus scare. Also, the Edge (see separate review), a Restaurant- Casino- Liquor store is adjacent, how’s that for convenience! Great TV programming, too

Hotel is quiet and clean. A little disappointed that they didn’t tell us that all of the outlets (pool, fitness, etc) were closed still. When sharing my disappointment about the pool I was told "sorry, COVID did it." Considering I work for a hotel I know that pool closures are not mandated in Stage 2. Regardless of how they're handling it, it would have been nice to be told when making the reservation. Breakfast bag they provided consisted of a bottle of water and a granola bar or yogurt. Wouldn't make a reservation there based on breakfast being provided. I would stay there again if/when things go back to normal.

Thank you so much SaraT8105 for taking the time to write us a review about your recent stay. I'm so sorry that you were not informed about our county regulations and our pool being unable to open back up for our guests. As of now, in Ravalli County were are unable to have our pool open and our breakfast buffet. We appreciate your understanding and patience regarding this. I'm glad to hear that you will be staying with us again in the future. We can't wait to welcome you back to our hotel!

Stayed here two nights while visiting family . Hotel is nice, good breakfast and reception staff..
Parking and location is very good, quiet and easy hotel access.
The Edge restaurant is next door, excellent place so perk to have it close!
I was disappointed in pricing from last visit. Wednesday/Thursday night stay in early June, was $269.00 and $319.00 respectively per night plus taxes/fees … this was for King Suite but there is no separate bedroom so sofa bed pulls out for second bed which is not separated by wall/door from king bed…
Decent room but not what suite should be and especially for this price! $50.00 more for second night during week? Money gouge really…
Too bad this place is pricing out travellers with such high rates….

RamboNWAlberta, We feel our rates are on par with what other hotels similar to ours are in pricing. Our rates are also based on the travel season and availability. The Bitterroot Valley is beautiful and quite a popular place to visit. We hope you are eligible for the discounts our partner sites offer and will choose to visit us again in the future.

We recently stayed at the Bitterroot River Inn when we were meandering through the valley, trying to stay off major highways. We had no reservation and were a little nervous about playing it by ear, but we were welcomed and had no problem getting a room. The check in process was easy, the gentleman was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was beautiful - nice rustic wood beds and chairs. The room was immaculate and well maintained. Pool and jacuzzi were easily accessible with reasonable hours. Breakfast offered lots of options. Maybe we are just not used to life as it was before covid, but it was sure nice to stay someplace that went above and beyond to make life seem normal again. Our dog was welcome, with no extra fee. We really couldn't believe our luck. Oh, and I have to mention the access to the footpath along the Bitterroot River behind the hotel - I've always thought the Bitterroot is the most beautiful river around, and it made us so happy to take our dog back there for several long walks. This was an amazing place to stay, and we will definitely be back.

Management does not require employees to wear face covering in the midst of a pandemic. This was very disturbing since during our visit (6/25/2030) Montana was experiencing a surge in cases. I expressed my concern to the desk manager. She was unmoved.
The facilities were very nice but their disregard for health risk to customers was unacceptable.

Overnight stay traveling through the Bitterroot Valley .Nice Decor/lobby.Had a room with a small balcony. While sitting on the balcony we had a nice visit with a morning dove just a few feet away on a tree branch. The bed is Firm.Don't expect a cushy mattress like home.Don at the Front desk was Excellent. We noted he remained calm during multiple check ins at the same time.He went out of his way to communicate with the folks in line that "I will be right with you". Clean breakfast area. The usual assortment of breakfast foods.

We recently reserved the Conference Center for our Mother's Celebration of Life. Though a difficult time for us, Bonnie Sue and Mandy made the booking and set up process easy and perfect!

Mandy took care of more tables and seating before we even knew we needed it. She paid great attention to detail, and everything was PERFECT!

Thank you so much!

We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was extra nice. Not only does this hotel allow pets, but they don't even charge an extra fee for them. There is a little park adjacent to the hotel and even a little walking trail. Next door is a nice restaurant with great menu options.
