My wife and I stayed two nights recently on our way driving from South Bend IN to Richland WA. The location is good, right at the north entrance of Yellowstone. Checking was fast, staff was very friendly and made you feel welcomed. We were given a two-queen bed room. The room was comfortable. Other than the toilet has a stench,...

I am glad you enjoyed your stay with us. The beds are 1 year old and pillows new. I have also passed on your comment to the housekeeping staff. Thank you and safe travels.

Conveniently located near the North Entry of Yellowstone National Park. The beds are comfy, and the environment is nice. It is not a brand new hotel, but well maintained. You can take photos with all kinds of antlers, just in case you missed a photo op in the park itself.

Thank you for your review and your kind words. Yes, you are right we are not a new hotel, but have recently put in new carpeting, new beds, new paint and new wallpaper. If in the area again, I hope you choose to stay with us. Safe travels.

I feel so ripped off that it is hard to admit. Astronomical prices ($250 plus taxes) at this minimal motel because it's not overly far to Yellowstone NP. Yet in an area of wonderful views, our first floor room looked out onto a stairway (see photo). We had arrived mid afternoon and I asked for a change of room. But...

nice location, rooms very good, hotel is kept up, you could smell the new carpet & paint in hallway. the elevator is a plus, had a 2nd floor room & you could hear the noise from room above, try & get a 3rd floor room. breakfast was fair the usual stuff, just need to get rid of those heavy juice...

Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Seemed fairly newly decorated. Refrigerator in our room reeked of Bologna from the previous guest...made the room smell bad. Also the refrigerator not working well. Had to use a lot of ice to keep our picnic items fresh. Dryer did not work so there were delays in the laundry process. Nice lobby, basic but good...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry no one double checked the refrigerator before you checked in. I will go over that with the rest of the staff. If in the area again, I hope you choose to stay with us. Safe travels.

Rates are high but more reasonable than other hotels in the area. Rooms are rustic and a little crowded. Beds are very soft and pillows are full and soft. Nice staff. Within walking distance of nearly anything in town. Good hot breakfast

We were lucky to grab the last room here after staying one night at a different nasty 70s Gardiner motel. Yes, the price is not typical for a Comfort Inn but it IS typical for any Yellowstone hotel during high season. This has to be the cleanest, newest, most comfortable hotel at the north entrance to Yellowstone. The beds &...

We stayed one night. The location near the north entrance to yellowstone was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the usual amenities. The breakfast buffet was just what we needed. The staff were helpful and polite.

Stayed 3 nights while exploring Yellowstone park. The room was clean, and a decent size. Kind of loud, but everyone goes to bed by 11 after hiking around the park all day, so it was quiet when it needed to be. We were on the top floor, and I swear I could hear running feet on the floor below us....

Excellent Yellowstone stopover. Very, very comfy bed, good breakfast, excellent and helpful staff. Easy to drive into the nat'l park, lots of animals to see and great scenery. Highly recommended stopover.
