Once again we enjoyed a wonderful few days here. The Maiden Basin room is comfortable, clean and offers sufficient storage as well as a convenient kitchenette. Breakfasts are homemade and delicious, offering a choice of oatmeal ( different flavor each morning), hot main dish, yogurt, toast, and dessert - many steps above your usual motel breakfast. Greg and Sabina are... More

Yellowstone Basin Inn had everything we were looking for: perfect location five miles from Yellowstone, beautiful mountain cabin decor, fully equipped room (Sat TV, fridge, stove top, super comfortable bed and chairs, desk, and spacious), and the best part a gourmet organic farm-to-table breakfast. The bonus was a owners that eagerly provided useful local knowledge about Yellowstone, local dining, and... More

The rooms are comfortable with a cabin feel that makes them warm & inviting. There is a kitchenette which is perfect to meet your needs (coffee maker, microwave, toaster, small fridge, & 2 burner cook top). Lodging includes a delicious breakfast of home made food( (local & organic ingredients) that changes daily. It includes homemade oatmeal of varying flavors (pumpkin,... More

Hi Laurie325, Thank you for your "Great place to stay" review. It sound like you stayed in our Paradise Cabin room which is a room in the inn with logs on the wall that has a kitchenette. All of our rooms are different, different decor, some with kitchens and some without. We are so happy that you enjoyed our breakfasts.... More

Usually I spend so much time researching where to go and what to do on our vacations. Not this trip! I didn't read one book - we just followed Greg's detailed route suggestions for four days in Yellowstone. His stops were perfect - great hikes, wildlife, gorgeous views, excellent restaurants, and interesting tidbits (like where to get the free Old... More

Stayed here for a night on September 6th after exploring the west part of Yellowstone. We really loved the place, we loved the views and we loved the breakfast. Everything was great. Greg even gave us some additional info on what to see and what not to see for the next leg of our trip. We will certainly stay here... More

Thank you for your nice review. We are so glad that you loved our views and the breakfast! We are just 4 miles north of Gardiner which offers fantastic views of the Park and the surrounding ranch lands. Most people who arrive, get out of their car and start taking pictures (that says a lot!) Not only do we offer... More

Our stay was in mid September. We stayed in the Yellowstone Suite and it was immaculately clean and had plenty of room to spread out and relax in! The suite offers a second floor balcony and my husband never put the binoculars down, the herds of elk were everywhere! Greg was a wealth of information regarding Yellowstone and the surrounding... September is a great time for viewing animals right from the inn. It is a very popular... More

Gardiner is the best place to stay when you're visiting Yellowstone, close the north gate and the wonderful Lamar Valley. The Yellowstone Basin Inn is a great place to stay. Greg is a warm host, always willing to help- unless you have questions on West Yellowstone which he doesn't like ;) Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast is great... More

We spent 2 nights at The Yellowstone Basin Inn last week. The Inn is ideally positioned for exploring Yellowstone and Paradise Valley. Greg and Sabina offer B&B-like hospitality. Greg is an excellent source for information and advice on Yellowstone Park. We were able to see herds of Elk from the porch. Gourmet breakfast is cooked before your eyes. The lunches are a bit pricey but better than what you would find on the road.
