Large comfortable rooms and incredible views. We saw wildlife right in front of our window early in the morning and at night. Greg gave us excellent recommendations and advice, including lots of tips. We wanted to see wildlife and Greg gave us advice on where to go and at what time, based on his recommendations we started out before dawn... More

Large comfortable rooms and great homemade breakfasts. Greg provides excellent recommendations and advice based on what you want to see and do, including lots of tips not in the guidebooks. We wanted to see wildlife, and Greg gave us lots of advice on where to go and at what time, and we saw everything that we hoped to see (including... More

Since we were traveling with friends, we wanted to be able to have a gathering area. A call to Greg, and he suggested the Cottage Suite which was available. This is a townhouse like accommodation with a full kitchen. We were there only two nights, but were made to feel extremely welcome. Greg is a phenomenal host. Each morning we... More

We are so glad that our hard work has paid off exactly the way we planned. It's nice that you were able to enjoy our largest family suite (Cottage Suite). Also, we are always happy to share our Concierge Service with our guests to get the most out of there time in Yellowstone. We work very hard to source local... More

We booked this location based on accessibility to the park, availability and reviews! It met and exceeded our expectations. The owner is so knowledgeable about the park, it was like having our own tour guide. I would recommend it to anyone. And the breakfast is to die for. Healthy, nicely displayed and you can eat while looking out the window... More

After reading so many different options for Yellowstone accommodation, we took the plunge and phoned Greg to book a room. From the first conversation, it was clear he is dedicated to taking care of guests every way feasible. We stayed in the Paradise Cabin room which had a fridge, sink etc and was very comfortable. The breakfasts were what sold... More

The B&B is too far outside Gardiner for our taste. I did not realize it would be so far out. We were there in late August/early September and we felt limited as far as dinner options. After a big scare the first night there -- it was dark and we were inches from hitting an elk on the road --... More

This hotel is a little outside of Gardiner proper, but served our needs fine. You will need to drive out to go to dinner etc. There is nothing walk-able nearby. If you are looking for a base from which to explore Yellowstone this is a good option. The hotel is clean, rooms are a good size, breakfast is nice. The... More

My husband and I both really enjoyed our two night stay at Yellowstone Basin Inn, and strongly recommend it to others. We woke up to elk in the front lawn. Our room (Paradise Cabin) was roomy and well-appointed, the breakfast buffet is outstanding (the chef is marvelous) and Greg, the host, was very friendly and helpful. He suggested places we... More

I can't imagine a better place to stay if you want to get the most from your Yellowstone experience. Greg, the host, goes out of his way to make sure that you see the things you came for, and tells you about other Yellowstone opportunities that you wouldn't get even if you consult several guidebooks, (which we did). Our National... More

You will not be disappointed with your stay! Greg is an excellent host and knows Yellowstone and the surrounding area inside and out. Lots of great advice. We told him what we were hoping to see and he delivered. Grizzly Mom and her cubs and lots of bison ( sent us on a one lane road in Yellowstone that is... More
