This was my second time here at this hotel. My first time, the room was clean although outdated. This time though, the room was dirty and smelled funny; the sink's counter was dirty, and there were hairs on the sheets along with some dirt stains. I reported the dirty counter but just went along with the sheets, as I knew...

Thank you for the review and we appreciate your feedback. We have made lots of updates over the last 2 years and we have a bunch more on the way. We are purchasing new bedding for the entire hotel and making the move to Triple Sheeting as you see in most hotels these days. We've only had one episode of...

I want to give it at least a 3- only because the staff/receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Gave us some great recommendations for food. But the room itself, it was not the cleanest. I lifted the cover off the bed and found a dead mosquito by the pillow and a little piece of hair on it. The blankets had...

Thank you for your review we appreciate your feedback and business. You have to remember that your are staying at the North Entrance to YNP during the peak season and our prices are much lower than the competition. One of the upgrades we are doing during the off-season is moving from our old bed spreads to Triple Sheeting. So we...

Comfortable rooms with comfortable beds. Rooms come with a coffee maker, coffee, a refrigerator and microwave. Average size rooms and bathrooms. Free wi-fi, parking and beverages in the office. Great view of the Gardiner River from your room. Rooms have a porch you can sit out on and watch the world go by.

I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights months ago and was very concerned after reading a couple of the last reviews. After arriving , we checked our rooms throughly and found them to be clean and have everything we needed. The view is beautiful and the location is perfect! Sure, if you need upscale bedding and a breakfast...you need to...

Have read other reviews and although we were there about the same time luckily we encountered no bugs. However, as said room was overpriced. But there is not much in the area and that is free enterprise. Our room was clean. Could use some updating. The balcony overlooking the river was nice. We had to leave very early hoping to...

Thank you for the kind review and we appreciate your feedback. You are correct we don't have a bed bug problem and on the rare occasion they are brought in to the hotel from a guest we kill them right away. There is no way 100% to stop bed bugs you have to kill them once you find them. I...

We spent two nights at the Absaroka Lodge. Although this is a basic motel the rooms were clean and comfortable and very close to the north entrance. There is coffee and free wifi and we think it is a decent place to stay. We ate at the Raven Grill just down the road towards Yellowstone. The food is good and...

This place, for the very steep price, was somewhat underwhelming. The room was Ok, the beds were comfy enough, it seemed clean and the bathroom was adequate. There was also ample free parking and the wifi was good enough considering the location. But; the outside of the patio door was rotting away and mouldy, 'free coffee' in reception meant that...

The good: The lodge has nice location, next to the Yellowstone river. Nice work done on the vinyl siding. I like the balcony. The bad: Although it is pricey, the inside can not match with the updated siding/balcony. Bathroom, bedroom are outdated, bed sheets are paper thin. Not much to complain here, it is hard to vacancy. The worst: Unfortunately,...

As you mentioned we get mostly positive reviews but we do appreciate your feedback. At certain times of the year bugs can be bad so we instruct all guests to keep doors and windows closed because the bugs are so small they even come through the screen. We did major upgrades to pretty much everything 2 years ago but next...
