We stayed three nights in #110, a two-bedroom, one bath suite with a kitchen. It was great… had everything we needed, a well-stocked kitchen, coffee, nice drink glasses, good A/C, a grocery store across the street, and could park near our door. Elk and deer wandered through this charming little town daily. We didn’t use the guest laundry, but it was open 5:00-8:00 in the evenings. The owner was so kind to mail some clothes to us that we left in a drawer. Gardiner is the north entrance into Yellowstone National Park, where the main road was destroyed in the June 2022 flood. The temporary road is a winding four miles into the park with lots of 15-mph curves, but don't let that stop you... the Gateway Inn is a great base for visiting the park.

We loved everything about this hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and cozy. We booked a two bedroom unit for three nights. It had a full kitchen, nice living room and comfortable bedding.
The staff was very friendly. They allow you to use their laundry facilities after 5 pm for a small fee. It was much appreciated as we were on a 11 day trip.
The hotel is within walking distance to the grocery store, shops, and restaurants. We switched hotels five different times on our vacation. This was our absolute favorite. I would stay here again!

We first stayed here in March of 2014 on our first trip to the Park and we stay here every time we visit. Our last visit was as good as the first. We stayed six nights earlier this month. The room was spacious, very clean, and well-maintained. The beds are wonderfully comfortable and cozy. The full kitchen is a bonus because the restaurants which were open were very busy and then we got snow for a couple of days. It was really nice to be able to just stay in and cook. The hotel is right across the street from the Market which is very helpful. The rooms are set back from the main road which helps with the noise and you sometimes get to watch the elk or the rabbits graze right outside your window. You can't go wrong staying here.

The quaint and beauty of these pictures of the location doesn’t give it justice. We just returned from a 4 day stay and the Yellowstone Gateway Inn will be the place we stay again. The staff were helpful, kind, and gave personal touches that made the stay extra special. We had #106, and it was like staying in our own apartment. We grocery shopped and had everything we needed to make full breakfast, pack picnic lunches for Yellowstone, and then to come back “home” for homemade dinner. They also let us use the bbq to grill steaks. We felt at home and relaxed. Thank you to the staff for making our weekend getaway so wonderful.

We have just finished a three night stay here at the Yellowstone Gateway Inn. We booked somewhat last minute when a trip to Glacier was cancelled. Our tour guide, MacNeil of Yellowstone Insights, recommended staying here. His suggestion was GREAT! When we arrived we were told we were upgraded from the Deluxe Two Bedroom Suite to their home just across the street.

WOW! The two bedroom house had two bathrooms, a full kitchen where everything was brand new, a dining room, living room with two full couches and a brand spanking new outdoor grill. We were the first ones to use it! The home was spotless and extremely quiet.

Additionally, the home was equipped with much more than I would have expected. Complete coffee service (10-cup pot with coffee, filters, sugar and creamer); washer and dryer with laundry detergent; aluminum foil and Saran wrap; shampoo, conditioner & soap. We were amazed!

Beds were very comfortable; there were tons of outlets to charge electronics; fine wi-fi service (you shouldn't be spending much time on line in this beautiful place anyway!!!); and three big screen TVs (one in the living room and one in each bedroom).

We were simply surprised with this wonderful upgrade and we would have been happy with our original room. We'd definitely stay here again!

We made confirmed reservations. They took a deposit Apparently. the owner often changes reservation systems when he did he abondoned some, including ours. We were not notfied or refunded We showed up and there was no room. It has been an ugly nightmare. If you have a reservation with them, call to confirm apparently this has been an ongoing issue

We loved our three nights here. You can park your car right smack in front of the door. Our cabin (cabins are connected to each other) had a great kitchen with a full-size fridge and ice maker plus a table to eat on. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. There are elk on the property, which sits back from the main road. You can walk to restaurants, but driving was never a problem. These cabins are not luxurious, but very comfortable and everything we could have wanted for our time in Yellowstone.

We booked on line and chose this motel because of reviews. While staying in west Yellowstone, we called and asked if we could arrive a day early and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. We liked it there so much, we asked to extend our stay and once again, they came through for us, without having us change rooms. We were there on super bowl Sunday and they asked us to come over to a party at the office. Not many places we’ve stayed in ever offered anything close to that. Amazing staff, clean rooms, very pet friendly, and the elk and deer come to visit every morning.

What a gem. The rooms are large and comfortable and the people are friendly and welcoming. Having a kitchen to do a little cooking definitely helps to keep costs down. It's right across the street from the Gardiner Market so you can grab anything you need. We were pleasantly surprised at how perfect it was!

We spent three nights in January in Room 101, with 2 bedrooms, a large living room, and a full kitchen. Each room has a heat/AC unit that works well, but the living room unit runs constantly when on. Still, the units are fairly quiet. All the furniture and both beds were comfortable. The full kitchen was stocked with everything you need for cooking, and a grocery store is across the street. (One night we ordered Outlaws Pizza to go, and it was very good.) We were given an ADA room even though we are not disabled. The shower has a fold-up bench that didn't get in our way. The shower head was good and the bathroom was well lit, but there is no counter space. Overall it was a pleasant stay, and we would return in the off-season when prices are reasonable.

You can get a look by using the "Street View" function of Google Maps. I will say that this doesn't do justice to the beauty of the mountains in the background. The area is very pretty.

Hola! This inn is well situated to visit all areas of the park and return at night. However you should be aware that nearly all of the park roads are closed to automobile traffic until mid to late April. And many of the snowmobile accessible roads will be closed by late March. Recommend you check the nps dot gov forward slash yell forward slash planyourvisit forward slash parkroads is a website that gives the opening dates for YNP roads.
