My wife and I had a fantastic stay here. There was only one woman working, but she was friendly and kind and made us feel at ease while showing us to our room. Our room was well decorated and struck a great balance between feeling homey and not feeling “lived in”. Decor was rustic and it felt like staying in a cabin, but the sheets and bathroom felt as clean and fresh as any franchise hotel. Water pressure was great, and the room was fitted with two smart TVs so we could unwind with some shows after a long day at the park. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, and we will definitely be staying here again when we’re next in the area!
We first stayed here in March of 2014 on our first trip to the Park and we stay here every time we visit. Our last visit was as good as the first. We stayed six nights earlier this month. The room was spacious, very clean, and well-maintained. The beds are wonderfully comfortable and cozy. The full kitchen is a bonus because the restaurants which were open were very busy and then we got snow for a couple of days. It was really nice to be able to just stay in and cook. The hotel is right across the street from the Market which is very helpful. The rooms are set back from the main road which helps with the noise and you sometimes get to watch the elk or the rabbits graze right outside your window. You can't go wrong staying here.
We stayed at the Yellowstone Gateway Inn accommodation located eleven miles North of Gardiner on the bank of the Yellowstone River. The views from our house were breathtaking. The house is newly remodeled and includes upscale furnishings and appliances throughout. The staff is top notch and catered to our every need. We met a Navy Veteran and his wife who I served with thirty-five years ago who was also staying at the Inn. We reconnected and I had the time of my life, the best trip I have had in years. The manager gifted us each one of their hand made souvenir Yellowstone Park walking sticks at no charge to show her appreciation to us for our service to our great country.
Well appointed and spacious suites that make a great base from which to explore Yellowstone Park. Walking distance to the Gardiner Market and restaurants. Loved the beautiful wildlife photographs taken by Ken Herrly that decorated our suite. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed our 4 night stay. We originally booked for two nights but then a snow storm came so luckily they had availability for us to extend our stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, full size fridge, stove and dishwasher. We had two bedrooms and a bath with two pullout couches in the living room for 7 of us. I just wish there was a second bathroom but we knew that when we reserved. Beds are very comfortable, even the pullouts were not bad. The place was super clean. It is a great location right out of the park and in walking distance to the market. The market prices are not bad especially compared to some of the restaurants on the area which are pretty pricey. So definitely worth having a kitchen to make our own food. There is coin laundry on site available to use between 5-8. The WiFi was good too. The biggest highlight was all the animals we saw right outside our door. We saw rabbit, elk, deer. The deer are also very friendly and will come up right to you. We would definitely stay again.…
