We had originally booked a room at the inn, but we were informed on the day of arrival that the room had somehow been double-booked. The proprietor put us in a house located offsite, which turned-out to be nice. We had breakfast at the inn in the morning. I believe another guest must have gotten my egg dish because I... More

We had a great stay at the Jeffers Inn in mid-August. It was a great home base for us to get to Yellowstone each day, and the nearby town of Ennis was lovely to visit as well. Bob and Leigh were incredibly hospitable and helpful with park and town recommendations. Breakfasts in the morning, by Leigh, were fantastic and much... More

The experience at the Jeffers Inn was the best we could have imagined. The old home has been refurbished in the best of styles keeping with the period. Bob and Leigh are both gifted historians and story tellers. The breakfasts were gourmet delights and we have implored Leigh to put together an annotated cookbook! The view is spectacular and the... We had driven through Ennis on a previous trip and wanted to come back and stay in the town but did not know exactly where. Well we had dropped our son off at Montana State for school and we ended up staying an extra day but Bozeman was all full, so we decided really quick to go online and see... More

We lucked out and were able to have this place to ourselves in the middle of a busy tourist season. The owners have worked hard to restore and upgrade this gem from 1902. It was great to visit with Leigh and learn about the history of the Inn and the Jeffers community. I would enjoy staying here in the fall...beautiful... More

Bob and Leigh are tremendous host/hostess. Immaculate rooms and grounds in a peaceful country mountain setting. Leigh has wonderful stories to tell during delicious breakfast. Well worth the stay when fishing or vacationing in Ennis.

We had an outstanding visit at the Jeffers Inn. The owners are friendly, the rooms immaculate, the house gorgeous, and the view outstanding. They have a romantic setting with a stream and two gorgeous horses to hug. If you stay long enough, you will get a ride in their carriage. I would say more but my vocabulary is limited to... More

This was the absolute perfect place to stay! Leigh and Bob are some of the best people I've ever met! They make you feel so at home and the breakfast reminded me of my Nana's house. You'll be missing or if you don't stay here while visiting Ennis. We will be back!

Amazing! Leigh and Robert were the best hosts we have encountered on our business or pleasure travels. The house was beautiful and historic. Clean and pristine. The wonderful history of this house makes for a more enjoyable breakfast experience! The food was wonderful, the furnishings were beautiful. The entire experience was unforgettable! I loved the hot tub!

The Jeffers Inn is an amazing place. Hosts Leigh & Robert have done an outstanding job of restoring this house (built in 1904) and furnishing it with with 100-300 year old antiques that are all in excellent condition. Their hospitality made our stay an unforgettable experience. It is in a quiet idyllic setting near the Madison River just outside Ennis,... More
