We wanted to include our dog, Milo, in our vacation plans to Yellowstone, but also realized it's next to impossible to have a dog along while touring the park. We were so glad to have found Querencia Kennels, to help us accomplish both! Milo stayed with us for our first and last nights of camping, and for 4 nights with... More

We boarded our two yellow labs (1 year old and 6 year old) at Querencia Kennels for three nights while we did Yellowstone park. All we can say is that these two city dogs had the vacation of their lives. Living outside and gamboling in the fields and ponds of Querencia with the other dogs, including Joe's. What a great... We dropped our GSP and English Lab for 2 days while we camped in Yellowstone with the kids. Joe was very flexible with our schedule as we dropped off and picked up before 8am. He texted us pics of our pups which we really loved. Lots of room to run and play, highly recommended!

We dropped our dog off on our way into Yellowstone. Joe was great with our Diesel dog. He truly loves animals and our "active senior" had such a great time running around the property, jumping in the river, and relaxing in the house. We aren't sure who had a better trip: us or the dog! He updated us with text/picture... More

The lodge is a great base for exploring Paradise Valley and northern Yellowstone. Our four boys, ages 5-11, had a great time on the property playing with the dogs, fishing and swimming in the trout pond, collecting eggs from the chicken coop, roasting marshmallows around the fire, and throwing rocks into the river. From the lodge we were about 30... More

With 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, Querencia was the perfect fit for our family of 9. Our family takes a yearly vacation and always uses VRBO to search & book which can be a bit nervewracking without seeing the rental in person but in no way were we disappointed upon arrival. Querencia is decorated in Montana fashion with artwork and... More

We did not know about this property when we made reservations for lodging near Yellowstone, but we did take advantage of the dog boarding services. Our Shih Tzu stayed with Joe for the day while we toured Yellowstone and took a rafting trip on the river. He treated her like a member of his family. It is obvious how much... More

Real Montana Hospitality This sprawling lodge was the perfect location for our large cross-continental family gathering. The rustic charm and comfort immediately made us feel at home. The gourmet kitchen supplied with All-Clad ware, a large refrigerator, and a sweeping mountain view made cooking easy and fun. The vast outdoor area, complete with large picnic tables, a big fire pit,... More

The lodge is rustic yet very tasteful. Cozy bedrooms with adjoining bath and homelike living space. Great kitchen and outdoor grilling area. Lots of decks to sit on and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. The drift boating was a great way to see nature and wildlife on the river. Had several hikes to the river with the host, his goats and... More

This could be a great place. The location and setting are incredible. Unfortunately, Querencia did not live up to the website's promise. BE WARNED there is a dog kennel on the property. Lots and lots of barking at all hours. Quiet? Peaceful? Relaxing? NO. And we are dog lovers. Though architecturally interesting, the building is very noisy - we could... More
