Our newly built lodge and two vacation homes sit just feet from the banks of the Yellowstone River in the heart of Paradise Valley Montana, with 120 private acres including a mile of premium flyfishing riverfront and exclusive views of Emigrant Mountain. We can host up to twenty-two people as a group (for corporate events, reunions, and weddings), or three separate groups of up 1-8 with their own private lodging, kitchen, and bathrooms.
Where to even begin?! Before we stepped foot on the property, Jeff and Robin had helped us plan our itinerary and driving directions from Jackson, WY up through the park for the days prior to our arrival at ReedFly. And then, from the moment we stepped foot on the property it was a dream. Robin went over the top with a beautiful welcome basket and homemade dinner for us the first night (including a salad with herbs and flowers from her garden!) so we wouldn't have to worry about a thing. The left us eggs from their chickens and butter and brought our daughters some special sodas and ice cream and just went above and beyond. The linens and the beds were so comfortable that I searched for tags so I could recreate it at home! If you are a nature nut, this place is a honey hole of interesting things from birds to exotic flowers sprinkled throughout different areas of the property. There are also two very sweet puppies on the property (Shiloh and Huckleberry) that kept us company while we walked along the river or sat on the back lawn. Before the plane landed back home we were already online trying to figure out when we could go back!!! Thank you to Robin, Jeff, Huckleberry, and Shiloh for making our family vacation so sweet. We can't wait to come back and visit!…

Our family went out to Jeff and Robyn's place, (Reedfly Farm) last week, and it was amazing. We were greeted when we arrived by Robyn, and her two wonderful dogs that made us feel right at home. ( I wish we could have taken Huckleberry home with us..lol) Our cabin was amazing. Everything done 5 star. When she showed us the kitchen, we had wine, a DELICIOUS CINNAMON ROLL CAKE, and fresh eggs from their farm waiting for us to enjoy. Our backyard was facing beautiful Emigrant Peak Mountain, and we were steps away from the Yellowstone River and our son started fishing immediately. During our stay Jeff was kind enough to tell our son where other good fishing holes might be, and we got to fish the pond on the property as well. The property is an easy ride from Bozeman Airport, close to Yellowstone Park, and the towns of Emigrant and Livingstone both had great food and things to do in a quaint small town atmosphere which we loved. We have decided to make Reedfly our family summer trip from here on out. We are already making plans for next summer. If you want a super nice place to stay, in a beautiful part of our country, Reedfly supplies all that and more. Thanks again Robyn and Jeff, we will be back!…

My brothers and I spent a week at the Eagle's Nest. We were able to fly fish, climb a 8500 foot mountain and see a bear. But the best part of the day was coming back to a five star accommodation and sip Montana whisky, while watching the sunset over the river and then see Jupiter and the Milky Way. It didn't hurt to have farm fresh eggs every morning. If you're planning a trip to Yellowstone you have to stay at Reedfly Fram - it's simply the best.

Such a great place! Very comfortable and quiet with beautiful views! Very close to Yellowstone and great eating places. Robin is very kind and accommodating, and has excellent recommendations. This made our 27th Anniversary truly memorable. If we ever work our way to Montana, we are definitely staying here!

After a busy week at a family wedding, our stay at ReedFly Farm was so restful and restorative. Whether we chose to gaze out over the Yellowstone River and Emigrant Peak, try our hand at fly fishing, travel into the Park for hiking and wildlife or just curl up on the Adirondack chairs with a good book, this special place is not to be missed. Farm fresh eggs and veggies made for the most delicious omelet and salads and we certainly had all the comforts and accoutrements of home. We’re still talking about this trip and telling our friends not to miss it! Thank you Robin and Jeff. D&M

Beautiful place on the river with gracious hosts. We wish we could have stayed longer! We stayed in Eagles Nest with our adult children after a busy family wedding week nearby. This was a great end to our trip with fly fishing, hiking and the Park close by to explore. Thank you Robin and Jeff for sharing your slice of heaven! We would love to come back, Heidi & Kent

One of the most beautiful places we have stayed and we travel often! Jeff and Robin take hosting to a step above from the farm-fresh eggs, chocolates and wine upon arrival, to well curated website listing fantastic places to visit and eat. This spectacular property on the banks of the Yellowstone River must be experienced. The north entrance of Yellowstone is just a 30 minute drive. The property is extremely clean and upon return to our home, I have swapped out my hand soap, laundry soap and sheets! Besides the beauty of the surroundings, Jeff and Robin are just exceptional people. They were flexible and understanding to a health situation that I experienced on our trip.

A boutique lodge that made sure their guests were given the upmost privacy and peace. At Reedfly there were only two other rentals who also respected the privacy and quiet. It’s a rare find so close to Yellowstone. Beautiful view.

The good. I contacted the owners and asked if we could check in early, the female owner was nice and allowed me to check in and drop off my bags. This was our wedding day and we didn't want to check in at midnight. After learning it was our wedding day the female owner said she would like to give us a gift basket of wines and chocolates, she did and it was very nice. The rental has modern farmhouse look and is on the 2nd floor overlooking the Yellowstone River. The bad. The day after our wedding we still had family in town. That afternoon 5 of our family members wanted to float the river. My wife and I offered to pick them up from their float to bring them back to their car. We all agreed and told them our rental was on the river and nearby. My wife and I went home and rested. They called when they were getting close and my wife went to the shore to wait for them. After getting out of the river my wife and 5 family members went up to my vehicle. At this point, the female owner approached my wife in distress asking what we were doing and who these people were. My wife described the situation but nothing she could say pleased the woman. The woman was furious that we would even consider doing this. She claimed to have called the sheriff, she went on how disrespectful it was to have them get out of the river here. The woman was nothing short of condescending and disrespectful towards my wife. She was patronizing her as she asked a series of personal questions like what my wife did for a living and who her parents were. She told our family to leave immediately even though I was their ride. When my wife asked what she could do to help mend the situation the lady demanded my wife to go get me. Meanwhile, I was inside the rental not knowing what was happening. My wife came in frantic saying we had to leave. We both went out and met the woman. My apology was not taken either. The woman told us to leave the property and that when we come back we better have thought of how to apologize to her. We drove away not believing what just happened. Our friends had exited the river and placed things in my vehicle immediately, not one of them was drunk, no one was belligerent or talking loudly in the least. The time it took them to get from river to vehicle was far less than my wife spent getting lectured without reason. My wife was in tears because she never wants to make anyone upset, nor did we think this was wrong. I decided to drop them all off and return to try to apologize or make amends since we were paying to stay a 2nd night. I texted the woman asking to meet with her, I knocked on the front door, no answer. I waited a minute and saw a man who I assumed, and turned out to be, the male owner of the rental. I told him we upset the female because our family got out of the river here and my wife and I wanted to apologize. He thanked me for apologizing and told me he would talk with the female. He said they sometimes have non-guests get out of the river here and they don't like that. I again apologized and explained that if we’d known we never would have done it. The man was nice and reasonable and that was the last we interacted with them. Summary. If you enjoy a modern farmhouse look with a very earthy feel and you don't do something to upset the female owner you will probably enjoy this rental. My wife and I are very passive people who don't enjoy going out of our way to write 1 star reviews. But the way we were spoken to, in particular my wife, was nothing short of unacceptable and disrespectful. There is little explanation to describe how she was treated.…

Response from , Owner at Reedfly Farm & Rivers Bend Lodge
Responded Jul 17, 2021
Reedfly’s policy clearly states that only authorized paying guests are allowed on the property. Furthermore, it is against Montana’s Stream Access Law to enter private property from public waterways. Lastly, our policy is in place to prevent incidents like you mentioned. Yes, your unauthorized group was not unruly. However, the additional context is that they all walked by the private deck and master bedroom window of a husband and wife paying guests who were present at the time. Again, our policy is in place for just such a reason. I appreciated our civil conversation and handshake. I appreciate your acknowledgement in the review of our flexibility of your early check-in, and that you enjoyed the facility and location. Trespassing is illegal, and as you can appreciate, the safety and security of our guests is of utmost concern. The majority of our guests appreciate that we do not allow unauthorized people to simply walk on to the property from the river or elsewhere on the property. Owners, Jeff Reed and Robin Naughton

My wife and I recently returned from a long planned and twice postponed trip to Yellowstone National Park. We were fortunate that we discovered Reedfly Farm. What an incredible place. It exceeded all of our expectations. Robin and Jeff have created a truly exceptional property. The location is only a few feet from the Yellowstone River and offers an amazing view of Emigrant Mountain. We stayed in the Cutbow Suite which was spotlessly clean. Robin was an amazing hostess, providing a welcome basket of fresh eggs, baked goodies, a bottle of wind, and chocolates. Also, we want to add a special shout out to Robin and Jeff's assistant, "Big" Robin. He was incredibly helpful. We highly recommend Reedfly Farm and would love to return soon.
