Surprised to find that this was one of the nicer NP accommodations of the 5 lodges we stayed in Yellowstone and Glacier. Just updated- great beds and pillows, very large room with closet and drawers, (unlike many of the lodges that had no place to put your suitcase or clothes). Good shower. Staff very nice. Ate twice in restaurant for... More

We stayed in this hotel one night before we started a backpacking trip. The room was very small but it was very clean, decorated nicely, and the beds were very comfortable. It was also a convenient location in the park. I also really liked the restaurant across the parking lot and the store to buy lunch sandwiches, etc right next... More

The remodel on this motel was done perfectly. We loved the decor. Fits the era it was built. We did NOT hear our neighbors. We liked staying here while exploring Logan Pass and the East side of the park. You did not have to drive all the way out of the park and could get to Logan Pass early in... More

We were very pleasantly surprised by our 'Motor Inn' room (one Queen with private bath). It was a reasonable size, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Extremely good value for an in-park lodging.

This is on the Eastern side of Glacier National Park. It is a 50's style motor inn, with attached campgrounds and a restaurant. The room in the inn have been updated and are very nice--clean, a tad stylish, comfy beds. The restaurant has not been updated, but has wonderful wall of windows looking at the views. The staff, which all... More

Maybe we picked a good year to go (N.P.'s 100th anniversary and all), or got lucky with our rooms, but whether we rented a dorm style room at the Lake McDonald Lodge, or, this motel room, they were all recently redone, and done well. While the cabin we got at Swiftcurrent was redone with the historic feel, this motel room... More

First time to Glacier. I was initially concerned about the Rising Sun Inn and Cabins since I was still able to make reservations four months prior to our trip (most popular locations book a year ahead). In the end, I was completely satisfied and would stay there again. As noted in other reviews about Rising Sun, the location has a... More

The Room: The room I had at Rising Sun Motor Inn and Cabins was beautifully rustic and quiet! The queen size bed was comfy and great after a long hike! I love the bathroom with large toiletry containers filled with hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. For $165, one queen size bed room is very affordable within the... More
