I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this motel at the eastern end of Glacier National Park was. It's set apart from the rest of the "village" so is very quiet. It's been recently refurbished, and it shows. The beds were so comfortable, and the bathroom was bigger than in other motels in the park. It was a little pricey... More

We spent three nights at Rising Sun in a motor inn room during our 10 day vacation to Glacier National Park. Other than our two night stay at Sperry Chalet, this was our favorite lodging. When we arrived, the check-in was very efficient and the staff very helpful. The building we were in was located toward the back of the... More

You can easily get to any place between Logan Pass to Many Glacier from Rising Sun. Rising Sun offers a clean room with a private bath. We also stayed at the Glacier Trailhead Cabins nearby in St Mary as we could not get all the days we wanted at RS. The key to successful hiking is to get an early... More

We stayed here as it was within the Glacier Park region. The cabins were clean and well maintained but the restaurant let them down somewhat with slow service and a meal that was not quite hot enough. Wi fi was only available in the main building but that was not an issue for us. If anyone was thinking of driving... More

We stayed here one night on our way through Montana. The lodging is just beyond the gates if you enter through the East Gate side. You must pay a 7 day entry fee of $30, which was a surprise for us, since we were only staying one night. The fee was non-negotiable and we ended up donating our pass to... More

I'm open to the quirkiness and even "glamping" of some of the old lodging in the national parks. From the exterior looks of this one online, I was afraid it was going to bring up bad memories like my family's Michigan cabin experience circa 1980. Getting here in the evening in the dark, finding our room was difficult and I... More

Glacier National Park is big so split your stay up and spend a few nights in diffident areas of the park. This was our favorite area of the park and we loved our stay here. These small attached cabins are well maintained with new furnishings, bedding, lighting, carpet, paint and curtains. The footprint of the space and use of the... More

Our family of four stayed in a cabin here. Although the two-bed cabin was small -- just enough space for the beds and standing up suitcases -- it was spotless, had most everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. Food at the on-site restaurant was good (with plenty of choices for vegetarians), and the staff was excellent and responded... More

I was surprised by how nice this cabin was. The bed was super comfortable and seemed on the new side. We slept with the windows open and had some great nights' sleep. It was a little on the small side, but I appreciate that that assessment is very 2016--it was fine, but with two adults and luggage/hiking gear for 9... More

Surprised to find that this was one of the nicer NP accommodations of the 5 lodges we stayed in Yellowstone and Glacier. Just updated- great beds and pillows, very large room with closet and drawers, (unlike many of the lodges that had no place to put your suitcase or clothes). Good shower. Staff very nice. Ate twice in restaurant for... More
