We had no car. Got off the train with our bikes and had a challenging (but pretty) ride to St. Mary entrance. Hiked and biked through the park for a month. Primo trip!! The motel was a good send-off for our trip to Glacier

The cabins have not been updated since the 50's. Everything is vintage, from the shower cabin to the faucets, the heat, the junction box and the neon lights with the original sticker still on it. It does not look run down, obviously it has been well maintained, but everything is old. Floor is uneven and everything shakes when you walk... More

We stayed in this Motel during a visit to GNP. First, beware this is NOT particularly close the St.Mary Park Entrance . We thought it would be similar to West Glacier where right outside the park there are motels. This was about a 45 minute drive from the St. Mary Park Entrance because the road is winding and slow, and... More

We loved this cute little motel located in East Glacier. The cabin was very clean...cozy and comfortable. The owner, Judy, was very nice and accommodating. The area is nice with a couple of good little restaurants and quick access to Glacier Park.

We really enjoyed staying here. The room was clean and cozy and we had a front porch to hang out on. Judy, the propietor, loaned us a fishing pole and cooler and gave us alot of information on the area. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Glacier. John and Cindy

This was a last minute booking upon us discovering that the Route 2 U.S. border crossing didn’t open till 7:00AM. We wanted to enter Glacier National Park’s “Going-to-the-Sun Road” from the East entrance at sunrise to avoid any heavy traffic (it worked and was a great experience). This motel was available in the area. It appeared that not one thing... More

Had a great experience at this family owned business. Judy was friendly and treated us like family. We originally had a motel reservation and decided to drive our RV. How wonderful that we could still stay there with full hook-ups. Limited number of camping spots but just what we needed. Made our trip perfect to have this place to rest... More

Reading other reviews, it appears not all cabins are the same. Perhaps ours was the loser. The small room was hot and stuffy early and chilly late. The wall heater could not be adjusted, so it was hot or cold when I kept getting up to turn it on or off. Bathroom is laughable. Cannot stand in front of the... More

We are sorry that you were not happy. When the bathrooms were added to the rooms 30 years after opening, they were spacious for people, not for the now average American "Guests of Size" as I remember that you were. The step down was in case of flooding to not ruin the entire room in case of a leak. I... More

Stuff costs more at Glacier National Park. Picked them hotel to get close to Two Medicine area when compared to other lodging. Rooms are small and have older style of showers. The staff at front desk was very friendly and willing to give great recommendations. Hotel has a small store in reservation building. Do recommend this as a good budget... More

We stayed here on our way to Glacier National Park. The cabins were clean, had everything you'd need, even a picnic table outside your cabin to enjoy a picnic. There were 3 restaurants right across the street. We recommend The Whistle Stop....don't go away without a slice of Huckleberry Pie (we took ours to go since we were full from... More
