WOW! I booked this a while ago to surprise my son on a trip we took. He loves the outdoors and it was the only night we didn't stay in a hotel. When we got there, we wished we would have gotten there earlier! He was excited to see an activity area by the check-in tent. There was

Thank you for your 5 bubble review! It sounds like Lauren is who checked you in, we are so happy to hear how helpful she was for your time here with us! I agree, our activity area is a great spot to meet other guests that are traveling from all over the world while enjoying s'mores all night. I hope you were also able to enjoy our complimentary on-site activities like morning yoga and music by the campfire. It sounds like surprising your son with this experience was a success! I hope you guys can come back and stay in our treehouse! Or maybe try another tent type at one of our other locations like West Yellowstone, Moab, Zion, Mount Rushmore, Smokey's, or even The Grand Canyon!

If your looking for something different from staying in motels but not totally in to camping then you should check this out. We stayed in a tent large enough for a king bed, 2 chairs, dresser and wood stove. Best thing was a bathroom with a toilet, sink and shower. The bed was

Thank you for your review! I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Our 24 hour staff works hard to help every guest, from planning a rafting trip for the whole family, to helping you with your stove in your tent. I agree, the king sized beds are so comfortable, it makes it hard to get out of them in the chilly mornings. I'm pleased to hear that the train was not a big bother to you. Along with the complimentary ear plugs, we also have white noise machines upon request. We hope to see you again, or maybe one of our other locations like West Yellowstone, Moab, Zion, Mount Rushmore, Smoky Mountains, and Grand Canyon!

Loved the Under Canvas experience. The staff and accomodations were great. HOWEVER... one thing we were not prepared for was the noise. The camp is just off the highway and a short distance from an active train track. The stars were amazing, but the experience was

Thank you for your review! I'm sorry to hear the train noise was an issue for you. Being only 7 miles from the West Glacier entrance does come with this challenge. We do our best to accommodate our guests by providing complimentary ear plugs in every tent and white noise machines upon request. I'm glad you still loved your experience here with us! I agree, when the sky is clear, its a great time to see all of the stars and sometimes, even the northern lights! We hope you can stay with us here again, or maybe one of our other locations like West Yellowstone, Moab, Zion, Mount Rushmore, Smoky Mountains, and Grand Canyon!

The tents were very nice and other facilities as well. However, the tepee we stayed in was not level and sleeping at a significant incline was not easy. I would expect permanent tents and teppees to be set up on level ground. Unfortunately, I would not recommend anyone

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your time here with us. Out tents are not permanent, we do take them down every year for the winter time. I will look into finding the tipi you stayed in that was not level! Being only 7 miles from the West Glacier Entrance does come with the few challenges of the road and train noise. We do our best by disclosing this at the bottom of our website, having complimentary earplugs for everyone, and we also have white noise machines upon request. I hope you were still able to enjoy your time here with us and experience some of our onsite activities like learning to fly fish, sunrise yoga, or smokes & music by the campfire! We hope you can try one of our other locations like West Yellowstone, Zion, Mount Rushmore, Smoky Mountains, or Grand Canyon!

We have two separate bathhouse facilities, both of which are conveniently located within about 30 seconds to a minute from each tent. There are no stairs to enter either facility. You could also book one of our deluxe style tents which have en suite bathrooms.

Is alcohol allowed?
Yes. Alcohol is allowed please enjoy responsibly :) Due to the wildlife we just ask all empty containers are disposed of before bed in the bear proof dumpster and if there are any spills that you notify a camp concierge immediately so it can be cleaned to contain the scent.

Hey Paul, We are very excited for yall to come to the Northwest. The train ride is amazing cross country like that you will see some beautiful stops. Unfortunately we do not have a shuttle for guest pick up. However I would highly recommend booking a rental car from the west glacier location for the time your here the area is vast and to be able to see it all a rental helps a ton. Book now because they do book out quickly for their rentals. Another great option is to take the train to the Whitefish location if Glacier is sold out for rentals. Its a 30 minute drive but the whole way is breath taking and well worth the adventure!!! We look forward to your time in the area. Sincerely, Alexis Mann
