We stayed as a couple at the Travel Inn in late July 2016. Rooms were not available at other motels. The room was clean, spacious, and well-supplied, with a convenient mini-fridge. The Inn offered a breakfast, which may account for its price being somewhat higher than other local places that do not offer breakfast. We had an early flight to... More

We stayed 3 nights, good starting point for extensive hiking trips in Glacier NP. The whole area is expensive in the summer, Glacier Travel Inn was less expensive but still pretty pricey IMO. That said, the room was spacious and clean. We found it quiet on the second floor and away from Hwy.2. The location of the small sink/ vanity... More

So this is kind of a budget hotel. Yes there are a few things wrong with it, but overall it was a good place to stay that was a little closer to the park. Our room was big and clean. The air conditioning doesn't get very cool at night. Breakfast is waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, bagels, muffins and toast.... More

Our 2-night stay in Columbia Falls provided access on the west side of Glacier Park with a shorter drive than our lodging in Kalispell. Our spacious and clean room was on the second floor, accessible by stairs either through the lobby or an end door. Updated key-lock system worked flawlessly. This is a lodging only location (no pool) which was... More

We were booked into a "suite" to sleep 3 adults, but at checkin were told we only has a standard queen. For more $ they moved us to a 2 bed room, but it was at the end of the hall next to metal stairs. This was very noisy. Even footfalls from upstairs were quite loud. That said, the breakfast... More

We were in room 210. The room was clean, the beds were a little hard but doable and though it is an independent hotel it was a very good choice. The King suite was comfortable but does get a little warm due to the rising of the sun. The only other comment is that the room does face Hwy 2... More

We usually tent camp inside of Glacier. However, my 84 year old brother in law joined us on this quick (3 nights) trip. This ex-Super 8 was close enough (15 miles) to entrance to West Glacier to work for our plans. The front desk welcome was a bit chilly, but efficient. Parking is right next to rooms, however, you can... More

first we planned a stay on the eastern side of Glacier National Park but noticed how few dining options laid there. Then we found an inexpensive option near the West Glacier entrance and the small towns of West Glacier-kalispel t The Glacier Travel Inn is in transition from a Super 8 .The rooms are quite large with two queen beds.... This is essentially a low end super 8 type hotel with big rooms, even though they are no longer affiliated. Nobody there from 8PM to 7AM, and no services . The breakfast room is closed and the front desk guy just took the signs with the emergency phone number off.

We stayed for a few days at the Glacier Travel Inn as we explored Glacier National Park. The location is great, but there are some issues. The breakfast is poor and unappealing, with no hot options. The only fruits available are in syrup for the waffles. There is not even normal bread to make toasts - only bagels and english... More
