We really enjoyed our four days at the Reclusive Moose. It's quiet and has everything you need. The owners are friendly and helpful. And a short drive to any of the three southern entrances to Glacier National Park. The Moose cabin was perfect for our family of three. And we very much enjoyed the grill and fire pit, along with... We recently returned from a three night stay at the Reclusive Moose Cabins. The Cabins were clean, well maintained and could accommodate up to 7 people (2 bedrooms: 1 Queen bed, 2 twin; a Queen futon in living room and a loft mattress). We traveled with our two young kids. Reclusive Moose provided a pack n' play and we set... More

We have a family joke about a place we rented based upon online photos. It looked great but it was just awful when we got there - so bad we left after one night! Don't be concerned about this happening at Reclusive Moose. The cabins look exactly as they are shown online, they are comfortable and clean and exceeded our... More

Couldn't have been happier! Every detail! Bikes were available . Peace and quite . Easy drive to Glacier. Charming and well worth the money- perfect break while on a long road trip! Family of four had plenty of room. Nice to have home cooked meals. Wished we had stayed at least one more day!

We had the opportunity to stay in the Bear cabin for the last part of our 2 week stay. It was cozy, well decorated (the most updated and modern that we stayed in during our two weeks) and the kitchen was fully stocked with all we needed to prepare our meals. You can tell a lot of love went into... More

Thank you Reclusive Moose for an excellent week!! This cabin and property are unreal and fulfilled my wants and expectations to the fullest. The location, amenities (both inside and outside the cabin) are perfect for truly getting away from everyone and everything. From the beginning booking process, to assistance and answering questions leading up to my trip, to pulling up... More

Our two couples stayed at the Glacier View Chalet. This review and the other reviews here all emphasize that it is a unique place, and for better or worse it is. As it started out life as a little cabin that was move, lifted, and expanded, the interior layout ends up not being as well designed as if it was... More

Dear Alan Curtis2 Thank you for taking the time to write a review regarding your stay with us. We were very sorry to hear that the layout of our home was not ideal for your group of 4 (2 couples). Our family of five traveled to Missoula in May for our son's college graduation. We wanted to spend a few days visiting Glacier NP (2 1/2 hr drive away) during our trip, a place we've never been. I scoured online for options, airbnb, vrbo, hotels, etc., thought the Belton looked good and tried to book their cabins. They were full... More

We stayed in the Bear cabin for three nights at the end of September/beginning of October 2015. As has been mentioned by previous reviewers, the cabin was very clean, modern and well-built, and provided a lot of nice amenities to guarantee a comfortable stay. Not to be repetitious, we would like to comment on a few things not previously commented... More

My wife and I stayed in the moose cabin for the first full week of October. When we arrived we immediately fell in love with the place. Ryan came over to welcome us and gave us some useful information about local places to eat and told us how to get around. We found the cabin to be very warm and... More
