We booked a cabin at the resort on Booking.com. A few weeks later we received word that there was an error and they could not help us since all the cabins were booked. So we called the resort directly and Sarah graciously worked with us to schedule a three-day stay. That was just the beginning of our satisfaction with North Forty Resort. After spending a couple of weeks on the road, we also appreciated the fact that we could actually cook our own food. Since we spent most of our day at Glacier National Park, from which our cabin was just a short drive away, we wanted to keep the food simple. The spacious cabin was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We did not use the other facilities at the resort. The entire experience was quite nice and we enjoyed the great hospitality of the folks from North Forty. We would most definitely stay here again.

Hotel's Favorite
We spent two nights here recently. Our cabin had a living Room/kitchen combo with a queen bed and bath on the end of this room. A second bedroom, with a private entrance, had a king bed and bath. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. The cabin was very clean. My only complaint would be during our stay the second TV did not work and there was no maintenance person to fix it. They did give us a discount upon check out for this and it was a nice gesture. The property is very well maintained. Staff very nice and helpful.

This is the perfect location to stay when visiting Glacier NP. Our stay was four days and we enjoyed the peaceful, quiet setting of our cabin in the woods! The kitchen was equipped with enough utensils to make a simple meal. We appreciated the laundry facilities and wished we would have brought bathing suits for the hot tub and sauna. The owner is on-site and encouraged me to get the free bear spray from the office before checking out the mile long hiking trail behind the cabins. The office area has a nice welcome area with coffee, tea and hot chocolate and room to relax in comfy seating. Columbia Falls has a nice variety of restaurants and retail outlets. Every evening when we returned to the resort, the nice North Forty neon sign welcomed us home! I highly recommend this resort!

We made reservations at this resort for our granddaughter's wedding, checking in was easy and the people were so friendly and helpful. Our cabin was outstanding, cozy, very clean, and supplied with all our needs. There was an electric fireplace in the living room and the furniture met all our expectations. the beds were so comfortable. Their housekeeping is a plus, great personalities but does their duties professionally. We plan on making a return trip to that area and will definitely stay there again.

My husband and I stayed in one of the cabins for three nights in September, 2022, while visiting Glacier National Park, our favorite national park. The cabins are well spaced resulting in some privacy. The front porch is large and very comfortable to sit and enjoy. We were in the tier of cabins closer to the highway which we could hear a little while we were outside, but we could not hear the noise when we were inside the cabin. The cabins are comfortable and big enough for 4 people (we were only 2 people). We stayed in a Ponderosa or Larch Cabin. We only fixed breakfast in the kitchen, but it would have been workable for more meals. The people in the office were very nice. The queen bed in the bedroom was very comfortable, but the twin bed was too firm. It needed to have a pillow top pad added to it. The only other downside feature was the comforters on the beds. They are the old fashioned kind where all the filling floats around inside. It would have been more comfortable to have the quilted type where the filling stays put. Last time we were at Glacier NP we stayed closer to West Glacier which put us at a distance for restaurants in Whitefish, but closer to the park. We think that all things consider, we liked being closer to Whitefish this time for all the convenience that allowed.

We stayed three nights with our big dog while visiting Glacier National Park. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. The one-mile trail is great for birding and dog-walking. Our cabin was a bit tired - dated but very clean. Bed was too soft, but that's a personal issue. It is about twenty miles from Glacier but worth the drive.

We enjoyed staying here. The service was top notch, the rate was reasonable and about 25 minutes outside of GNP. I hope to come back here with our family ( and our dogs!) . Very enjoyable experience staying in a private cabin.

The staff was great. Cabins were dated but clean. The staff does their best to make the experience great. I was a good location to many things. We traveled with our 2 kids and the cabin fit us well. The trail off the back of the property is a easy beautiful hike.
