We stayed here for a few days for our family vacation and just loved it. Coming from Colorado, it was hard to just guess online if this would be a good fit for us for the week. The cabin was perfect for our needs. I was a little nervous about not having a bathroom/full kitchen in the cabin, since we have little kids. But this was not a big deal at all- the kitchenette was great and the Treager smoker outside was awesome. The central bathroom/kitchen cabin was great as well- the showers were very clean and the kitchen was great for bigger meals. We absolutely loved this place. The property is so beautiful. It was also nice to be staying so close to Glacier, but with affordable prices. Also, the nearby town of Columbia Falls has restaurants and grocery stores that were all great as well. We highly recommend Columbia Mountain Ranch! …
My family and I stayed here for three nights and enjoyed every moment of it. It is a clean and well organized cabin and restroom. The atmosphere allows you to easily relax and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds you. We are already planning on a vacation here again next June.
Stayed here for a family gathering. Cabin was clean and roomy. Had a large living room/ kitchenette area with comfortable seating. Bedroom was large with a queen bed and two sets of bunk beds. There also was a separate changing area in the bedroom. The grounds were will kept with a beautiful pond! There were men and women shower rooms that were clean and comfortable to use. Yes, I will stay there again if I’m ever back in the Flathead area.
Cabin we stayed at the Ponderosa was really nice while still giving a rustic feel. Gaza bedroom large enough to house a queen bed as well as two sets of bunk beds and a small changing room privacy as needed. There's also a small living room with a couch and loveseat, small dinette, microwave, little fridge. It has a small covered porch with chairs to sit on and a Traeger BBQ smoker. All the cabin seem to be similarly outfitted. The family that runs the ranch has an extensive knowledge of the Flathead Valley and surrounding areas when it comes to hiking, hunting, fishing, horseback riding, or even if you just interested in sightseeing.
Beautiful retreat. Cabins are functional and cozy. Shared bathroom facilities were clean and well stocked with easy access from even the furthest away cabin, which we stayed in. Location is key. Very central spot from the airport and quaint town of Whitefish. To the main attraction, Glacier National Park and the quirky Montana vortex. Restaurants and stores are quick to get to as well. Anything you’d want or need is 30 minutes or less away yet you still get that country feel. Looking forward to the next trip up to Montana. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else!
