Meadow Lake Resort & Condos, nestled near Glacier National Park, is praised for its serene location and beautiful grounds. While the resort's atmosphere is appreciated for its private hot tubs and fireplaces, some guests have noted the decor could use an update. Cleanliness is generally upheld, although discrepancies in housekeeping services have been called out.
The spacious rooms are seen as a plus, but cleanliness issues and dated furnishings have been a concern. Service experiences vary, with some finding the staff friendly and others citing slow service. Travelers also find the resort fees high, questioning the value for the price paid.

Detailed Reviews
We enjoyed a very pleasant week at Meadow Lake. The condo was very neat and well appointed with nice touches like wood for the fireplace, detergent for the washer/dryer and quality cookware. The covered parking was appreciated on several snowy days. The only negative was the resort fee which is charged whether you use any of the facilities or not. Better to include a cost into the price of the condo rather than this add on irritant when none of the facilities are used.

Resort was in a great location and we easily found great dining options, commuted to GNP, and visited Whitefish. We loved having a small kitchen where we could prepare lunches for the days we were hiking. Our main focus was GNP so we did not use many of the resort's amenities. The resort is close to the airport in Kalispell and right down the street from a grocery store. The room was very large and easily had plenty of space for 4 people to get ready for our days of hiking. We did not use the washer and dryer but we were happy that it was available. I would recommend this resort for anyone visiting the area.

Stayed a week in a two bedroom condo. We loved how centralized this place was. You are just minutes from Whitefish locations, minutes from the airport, and just minutes from the entrance to Glacier National Park. There a two good sized grocery stores within about a mile. It's about a mile off the main highway so it is a very quiet location. Condo was very spacious. Kitchen was very equipped with tons of dishes. There was a balcony with an electric bbq grill; be aware it will fill your room with smoke. There was a real fireplace and a couple pieces wood, more available to purchase. Our room did not have much of a view other than trees that seperated the building from the golf course. There were two dining tables and three couches; two were couch beds. Master bedroom was upstairs with king bed and huge bathroom & closet. All rooms in the condo have their own temperature control, even the bathrooms!
My complaints: STAIRS!!!! There are no elevators. The main floor of our condo was essentially on the third floor of the building, placing the master bedroom on the fourth floor. That is a lot of stairs to climb on a daily basis.
Be advised the resort collects a $12/day amenity fee. Not sure what that covers other than maybe the pool? Wished they would have invested that money into elevators.
Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

They promised us a shuttle to and from Whitefish, Big mountain, Glacier Park, Airport. The shuttle did pick us up from the airport then was never available, even when requested a day before. It took us 2 days to realize they lied about the shuttle so we rented a car. They could have just recommended a rental car from the start instead of telling us the shuttle would provide transportation. We stayed 3 days and they never came to clean, replace towels, toilet paper etc. Final straw, they charged us $250 after we left and said it was a "hold charge". When asked if we would get it back, they laughed and hung up on us. This place is not near anything (20mins or so to ski area) and the shuttle is not a reliable form of transportation. Average Uber/Lyft was $45 one way to whitefish. Front desk seemed annoyed when we asked basic questions a guest not from the area would ask. Room was very out dated and had a musty odor.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us and sharing your experience. I sincerely apologize for the lack of hospitality you received as well as incorrect information regarding our shuttle service. We will be certain that all our team members are clearly aware of where our shuttle route(s). As for the $250 "hold charge", this is a pre-authorization of your card, upon checkout, the actual amount is charged and the pre-authorization ("hold charge") is released from the cardholder’s bank. Once again, thank you for choosing to stay with us and we hope you will give us another try.

Planned our family vacation and booked over a month in advance. Arrived at 1:30 to see if we could check in early. When we came back at 4 PM they told us that our room was no longer available at all this week. They mentioned that there was a power outage, that some staff quit, and that some staff called in sick. We were told the owner made the decision that morning to shut down, however no one told us when we came at 1:30 of this decision. To be fair the gentleman at the front desk was very kind, and mentioned that he had even left the front desk to clean many of the rooms himself. We know this to be true because no one answered the phone for over 45 minutes. If I were him I would have told the owner to come in man the front desk and deal with all the customers whose vacations that he completely upended. We would never consider returning to this resort nor recommending others to do so

I sincerely apologize for the lack of accommodations; it was me that made the decision to turn away some reservations due to the lack of staff to complete the cleaning of the rooms/units. It is true that we are currently in a very difficult staffing situation whereby it has been nearly impossible to hire staff, our entire team no matter their hired position is helping where necessary. I realize this does not make up for what happened to you, I wanted to explain and let you know we are working diligently to improve the situation. Please feel free to contact me at (406) 892-8701 to discuss further and I hope that you will give us another try in the future.

+1
Meadow Lake Resort located in Columbia Falls, MT was fantastic! The perfect location close to Whitefish Lake, Kalispell and West Glacier entrance. It was quiet, had gorgeous grounds, a great pool, a huge hot tub, a golf course and amazing food at the Meadow Lake Bar and Grille which was located right there at the Inn. I had read a few confusing reviews so I called the manager Chris Walters 406 892 8701 and asked some questions. I found him to be honest, accommodating and once he explained a few things I was eager to stay at this resort. The grounds are stunning. The pool is close to the Inn, not too deep and open until 10pm!! The hot tub is configured by three huge squares which allowed for social distancing. It is a beautifully designed hot tub. The restaurant had a great menu. Our favorite was the Caprese Salad with little mozzarella balls, tomatoes and spinach. Other favorites were the hawaiian pizza, burgers and the kids loved the chicken strips. Although one party stayed at the inn with a view of the golf course, others stayed in a condo which was spacious and was located right on the golf course!! Being apart was not a problem. It was a 3 min drive and lots of times we met at the pool or the restaurant. My son and son in law played golf and really enjoyed it. There is no discount even though the course is right there. I think they paid $70 for 18 holes. Flathead Lake was a 40 minute drive, but the resort has a fantastic connection there called Rocky Bar O. I recommend booking this which is free to guests. . Rocky Bar O is located on the lake. It is a waterfront property with chairs, picnic tables, grills and a dock to jump off of. The water is clean and clear 15 feet down, a little brisk, but so refreshing. Bring water shoes. You can stay until 8 I believe so it is a nice spot right right on the water without having to use the public beach. Glacier is an easy 20 min drive from the resort. I would definitely stay here again!

Thank you for choosing to stay with us and sharing your experience. We appreciate your feedback and will be sure to share it with our team. I am glad you had the opportunity to utilize many if not all the amenities we have to offer. Flathead Lake is truly a wonderful lake, with multiple islands and State Parks that are accessible to the public, if you are ever in the area again, I recommend renting a boat to explore, if comfortable and time allows, you will not be disappointed. Thank you again for your feedback and we hope to see you again.

I absolutely loved my stay! The view from my unit was spectacular, and the restaurant served some of the best coconut shrimp I’ve ever eaten. I stayed seven days and was not wanting to leave. I will return soon I hope. My visit was at the tail end of the Covid-19 shut down. Most of the area had re-opened with the usual social distancing, optional masks, and hand washing in place.

The facility is lovely and well kept. The 1 bedroom unit was clean and comfortable. The appliances are starting to show age and need to be upgraded soon. The button to turn on the oven was pushed through from wear and tear, the dishwasher is clean, but awful loud. The MB bathroom shower/tub needs to be torn out and changed. Although there is another shower in the unit, the MB tub so difficult to get into it--there is no way an older person can use this. So although inconvenient, it is clean. The bed was comfy which at many of these units, it is hard as a rock! But not this one.
Flooring is new and nice, washer/dryer unit was adequate and convenient to have in unit. Enjoyed the porch overlooking the gold course. The AC unit in the MB was adequate to chill the unit; and we had several days of 80's.

We are owners at Meadow Lake Nenastako Village but decided to stay at Glacier Village. That was a mistake. Our unit was not cleaned very thoroughly and we went to the front desk and told them. They did send housekeeping back and they vacuumed and removed a filthy rug. We had to clean the floors, countertops, and all the tables. There were empty wrappers on the deck and cans below our deck by the air units. It was a 2 bedroom unit and the deck was very cramped for 4 adults. Glacier Village is currently doing construction so there was a huge tarp over part of the building and also open electrically in the outside walk way ceilings and part of the stairs were taped off with caution tape. Usually, the units at Meadow Lake are nice so this was a disappointing experience for us. What made it more disappointing was they still charged us a $100 cleaning fee.

We stayed a week here with friends and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The 24 hour grocery store was only a mile away and well stocked, so we ate most of our meals at the resort, and made use of the gas grill also! Nearby restaurants were understaffed due to the pandemic so this worked out well. It was appreciated having a washer and dryer with included soap so we left with clean clothes.

I was in a two bedroom two bath condo, and there was a washer dryer unit in it.
No pizza pan, that I remember. Large sheet like pan tho. And a grill on the patio. There is a blender. I felt the kitchen was very well equipped as I cook most of the time.
Being honest Meadow Lake is not a 5 star resort, some of their lodging locations are better than other locations. Each lodging location has different room standards-not all have Gold standards. I will say their customer service has 5 stars.
As for changing rooms/locations you can ask.
