We stayed at the Boulder Hot Springs Inn as a stopover between Salt Lake City and Calgary. I'd originally googled to find a spot in either Butte or Helena but found both locations over priced and basic and so searched again... I'm so glad I did. I was immediately intrigued by the Inn's website which provided so much info on... More

We visited Boulder on our way up to the Flathead Valley from Colorado and we loved it so much that we went out of our way to stop there later on our road trip. The indoor tubs are so nice, the staff was wonderful, and they make a fantastic breakfast. The hotel is very cool.

Excellent place for a stop. Will be going back when more time available. Room was very nice, no tv or phone and felt like an old west room. Staff was too notch with wonderful home cooked breakfast. Outdoor was very enjoyable for our grandkids..1 and 3...and the plunge pool and steam felt great to us.

This is a special summer for this Inn. The peace that envelopes you as you druve up the road is unstoppable. This is peace I was craving and perhaps we're all craving. This hotel is surroundd by lush rain fed tall grass, wet lands, flocks of resident swallow, red wing black birds, Herons, Cranes, and during ly trip a peaceful flock... An amazing historical place to kick back and relax. We stayed there one night. It was awesome! They have indoor plunges (which are basically hot tubs, natural spring hot tubs, that vary in temperature). There is a men's side and a women's side. For the night we were there the men's side was co-ed. Then men's also had a sauna... More

We visited the hot pools on Memorial Day Weekend. Stumbled across the sign along the freeway and decided to check it out. Cool historic hotel in the midst of repairs. Outdoor pool was just right, toasty enough but it wasn't to the point of cooking you! Very pretty scenery around the pool as well. The indoor plunge pools were quite... More

The property has been in renovations for awhile, a lot of history. Small rooms, great breakfast in the mornings. the pool was nice- wild life around the property. Nice people and a friendly place. small towns close by to go get food. we liked the pool the best- didn't care for the lady who checked us in, not very friendly.... More

My friends and I stopped in after a day of hiking and exploring Elk Horn and what a nice surprise! We paid our $7 and got in our swimming gear around noon and stayed until 3pm. The whole time we were the only group in the place. There is a medium sized hot and cold pool inside as well as... More

This historic hotel from the mid 1800's mining days is not fancy in room or prices. It is charming reflecting the local culture. There are theme rooms decorated to reflect the name. Definitely not a sterile Holiday Inn, Ramada and the meals are fantastic!!

Thanks for your kind words. Yes, each of our rooms is unique with a different theme, and we are definitely not like the big chain hotels. More

A wonderful funky hotel with a great staff, great food, and the hot springs pools are the best. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful. My favorite room is 109, but they are all great - many have views of the mountains and forest lands that surround the hotel.

Thanks for your comments. Yes, each room has a different theme based on the history of the building so many people have their favorite. Sounds like yours is the California Mission Style Room. More
