Stayed here several nights while in the area for work. Very well maintained, older hotel with everything we needed! Large suite that was very comfortable and accommodating. The cleanliness of the property inside and out is unrivaled! No issues with anything in that regard. The housekeeping staff here is very good. The hot breakfast daily is prepared and served by Mary and one other on her days off and both are very nice and efficient. Everyone we encountered on staff was courteous. The exercise room is well equipped. The coin laundry room is nice and so is the pool area. We would definitely stay again! Great job staff!
I was on a road trip and decided to stay at this hotel due to the reviews. The hotel is in a commercial/business area. I thought the area would be safe. Soon after arriving in the parking lot, I noticed several unsavory characters walking in the lot. When I went to check in, there was a sign at the counter advising guest the hotel was not responsible for the loss of valuables. The sign also advised of a safe in the room for valuables due to "force entry." I ran into a few more unsavory characters in the hallways. The room was clean except for the rug which looked like it had not been changed since the place opened. Late in the evening, people were running in the hallway. Even later in the night I was awakened by a man outside speaking loudly and swearing. The hotel seems to attract riffraff.…

This is an older property that obviously has high standards for maintenance. The look is clean and fresh and everything works perfectly. We left too early today to merit a breakfast, but the desk attendant was kind enough last night to give us some fruit and muffins to go. Great value. And where have I ever seen an adjustable nightlight? Nowhere but here.
This hotel has smoking rooms, which seem to be at the beginning of the hallways, meaning you have to walk past them to get to your room. The odor was strong and could be smelled from within our non-smoking room. The backside of the place lines up with the railroad, and the trains seem to come by nearly all night. They didn’t blast the horns, but the roar of the train passing could definitely be heard. One of the few places that is still providing a hot breakfast. The food was good and freshly prepared.
