Built by a George Washington, The Cherry Tree Inn is more like your Home away from Home than the monotypic corporate properties that are in the marketplace. We are in the medical corridor in Billings and just 5 blocks North of downtown which offers numerous eateries and a number of award winning micro-breweries. We treat our patrons more like family than customers.

Detailed Reviews
Spent one night here before getting an early morning plane home. Great value for the price. Two queen beds, table with 2 chairs, a recliner and large screen tv. Convenient to downtown restaurants, clean and very helpful staff. I was concerned because the cost was so reasonable but the place was very good.

Desk attendant was very friendly and helpful. Room had recently been updated with new carpet including a very nice pad, new bedding as well as what seemed to be a new mattress, and new flooring in the bathroom. The wallpaper, bathroom tile, and toilet could stand an update, but have been well-maintained. We only had a short stay due to catching a plane in the morning so we didn't really experience any of their other amenities.

This hotel has had a good reputation with people who use the hospitals in Billings, but the quality has way down hill. I stayed there 5 or 6 years ago and it was nice and clean. In August 2014, my daughters and I stayed one night while on a historical site trip in Southern MT. The room needed a good cleaning, the box spring covers were very soiled, the bathroom floor needed a good scrubbing and the bathroom flooded from the room above us. Several essential items were missing from the breakfast nook. The only good thing was the location. The night desk clerk did call the management to find out where the mop was kept, so he could mop up the bathroom flood.

If I could give this establishment less than a 1, I would. The room was dingy, the smell of air freshener was very strong. They advertise free wi-fi, the room we were in never did have wi-fi available. The breakfast which started at 6 a.m. was gone. The grounds were dirty with cigarette butts all over the place.
The only thing this motel has going for it is the close proximity to the Billings Clinic.

This is a joke for a motel! The pictures of the rooms are not even close to what they actually are!! The cleaning staff need a lot of lessons on cleaning, like dust the pictures above the beds, I could have written my name in the dust !! The door to the shower and stool sounded like a pig with its tail caught in a door !! The outlets are so old nothing will make contact!! Walking into the building, you have to inhale deeply, so you don’t choke on the cigarette smoke !! Never again!!

I woke up in the middle of the night due to getting bit by bed bugs. I called and asked if I can switch rooms. The night manager said “we didn’t have that problem in that room.” I asked to switch rooms he said, we can’t because you will contaminate other rooms. I wouldn't stay there again.

Dirty. Towels are clearly not bleached…gray-ish. Entire building stinks of cigarette smoke. Also feel/smell dust in the room air. Used to be a great place for families seeking care across the street at Billings Clinic. It is run down and clearly not maintained. Outlet plugs are loose and difficult to keep plugged in. Phone charged but the base of chargers extremely hot. Beds and pillows not comfortable. Will not stay here again.

Charged for non authorized nights. Cherry Tree kept card on file and used for non authorized person. Refuse to refund money even though it was their error. Pretty much stole money. Sad that they do not fix what they took.

Room was nice and clean. The staff are friendly and courteous. Older motel, but well kept. Very accommodating. We had no idea how long we would be at the hospital, it was no problem to play it day to day. We even checked out, then found out late in the day we weren't going home. One call and we got our same room again. Thank you

The absolute best, great staff, great location, feels like home! I have always stayed and will continue to stay on all of my Billings visits.
Clean, comfortable and relaxing for a night or an extended stay. I highly recommend The Cherry Tree Inn.

I am not sure why this question was sent to to me and I am not sure what the question is. We have never had any problem with reservations with the several vitits we have made.
