Lovely location on the Yellowstone River. Pool is adequate. Mini golf is very cute, but more expensive than expected. Our cabin was very clean and well maintained. But the bathrooms...poorly maintained and a persistent mild smell of old urine. Very nice staff, just expected much more from the first KOA.

Stayed here for just the night. My space was right off the main drive which didn't make me happy, but I actually enjoyed watching people. Space was really nice with patio. Lots of places to walk the dog. River was just a little jump over the wall. It was nice. Nice store, BBQ place on site. I would stay here... More

Yes, it is more expensive, but we felt it was worth it. Spent 2 days here. This is the first KOA ever built, in 1962. Extremely well kept grounds and campsites. shower house was co-ed, but each shower was like having your own private full bathroom with a real lockable door. My only complaint is that the showers got pretty... More

Stayed here in August 2016 for one night each way going to and coming home from Glacier National Park. We booked the pull thru with full hookups and the first night we were in site 51 and the second time at site 29. Pros: well maintained, clean bathrooms, nicely landscaped, nicely shaded spots if you get a location away from... More

Great for families. Has everything, pool, hot tub, laundry, RV dump, wi fi - not the strongest signal but ok I did expect the grass areas on rv spaces to be greener with less weeds Would we go back, yes- not much in Billings but a good stopover if en route to somewhere Just being a couple- I wouldn't go... Advertised deal to buy wrist band. This would entitle owner to unlimited carts and mini golf. At tome of sale we were told carts not available until 4 p.m. This would then hardly be an all day pass. At 4 the grand kids so excitedly went to get their cart to peddle around in. No carts. We were told thet... More

It is obvious they take pride in being the first KOA as well as the headquarters. The campground is immaculate and recent rents to the washrooms are great and so too is the new mini golf. Two comments: 1) Costly. At $90/night for the deluxe sites you've hit hotel price. Now in my opinion I think RV parks offer more... More

Was there for a conference in billings for three nights. My wife was supposed to fly in and join me on the third night. Her flight got changed from Billings to Bozeman. At 8 PM I had to hustle and get out to meet her. I went in to let them know I was leaving and with out even asking... More

Spent an overnight here, paid $70+ for a pull through with electric and water. I need internet when I travel, and it DID NOT work here. I asked at the desk and got an unsatisfactory but polite 'duh' for a solution. Also, ate at their BBQ place, Pistol Pete's, and it was terrible, especially the service. The site itself was... More

Very clean we were there for the 4th this year we had a wonderful time we will be back! Sites are a little small wish they were bigger. New showers by the office very nice and big. The freeway exit to the KOA is very convenient. " not to far " lots of trees and our Grandbabys enjoyed the geese... More
