Best kept resort secret in the west. Big Sky tries to maintain its low key presence. The acreage available for skiing in the winter is unsurpassed in the U.S. with both Moonlight Basin and Big Sky connected. Vast array of accommodations from studios to multi bedroom houses available for rental. Spectacular views from the top. Hiking trails all over. Mountain...

Visited here with the in-laws to go skiing. The snow was great, our room was on the mountain and we could ski out the back porch, which had a hot tub! The views were fantastic and the restaurant was great. We will be coming back.

On top of the GPS not working here, we stayed in one of Cowboy Heaven Cabins on top of the hill. The only way to get to the pool, gym and restaurants is driving down. If you have children or like to walk to all of the amenities, you'll appreciate to stay in the lower cabins and lodges near by...

There is not much more to say about this resort. Breathtaking! Hospitality was indisputably amazing, the waitstaff were accommodating, you can't beat the view. Beauty galore, inside and out. A complete luxury experience.

We rented a fantastic cabin In moonlight basin. Saw more wildlife here than we went to Yellowstone. Moose walked right past the cabin every evening. Our Rental company was the best. Had everything you needed at the cabin, very clean and definitely luxury with heated tile floor, big jacuzzi tubs, separate showers, huge hot tub. Stayed at the end of...

moonlight has always been a beautiful property. now that it is in stronger financial hands, one would expect some upgrades. sadly though, towels and linens are what you expect to find at a 1 star motel, or low end health club. unfortunately, now Boyne is the only game in town.

My family LOVES Moonlight Basin! The skiing is terrific and the lift lines....well, there are none! Moonlight is a great place to stay with easy access to the entire Big Sky area. We've been visiting for years and will continue to do so.

My family of 4 (two children, ages 10 and 12) has been lucky to travel to many wonderful places around the world. Our Cowboy Heaven Cabin (#9 Bandit Way) is absolutely the best lodging we've had before!!! We have come to prefer condos/townhomes over hotels for most of our family vacations for a number of reasons. So after some searching,...

If you're like me you think this name is pretty weird and there's no disputing that, but this was as close to a perfect trip as I've ever had. We arrived to find the cozy little cabin at 15 rustic ridge nestled right on the slope, i mean you can't get any closer. We strapped in on the deck and...

Very nice condo. Large with excellent Directv and dvr service.Skiing is great . Hot tub just outside bedroom. Internet depends on which condo you have. Shuttle service was promised but is pretty pitiful. One person in our group waited an hr. Must have your own vehicle. Pool pass if for the pool which is 1.5 miles away at the Huntley...

“Third Party Internet is marginal in most cabins and unworkable in some. If this is important to you it should be communicated. If you are looking to bring one or two children, I would recommend that you examine the placement of the bedroom furniture between the rooms. See our comments above.”
