When we started planning our trip to Glacier, we knew we had to stay at least one night in Many Glacier, because you know, it's MANY GLACIER right? Knew going in that the renovation was in full swing and this did not bother us in the least. After many, many visits to the booking site we finally got the room...

We paid extra to have a room on the lakeside. The room was very nice (of course it was our first room after several days backpacking, so perspective . . .). Love the hot shower, comfy bed. Room is updated with several electrical outlets, clean, well maintained. It seemed quiet and cozy, small heater in the room and bathroom. The...

I know that this hotel is "historic" and has a very remote location, etc., etc., but this type of hotel is not for me. Before I get to my review, I will say that I am glad I had this experience, but I wouldn't want to stay here again. Getting here: This hotel is in the East Glacier area, and...

We stayed at the hotel last month in one of the "refurbished" rooms. When we booked (which was last minute), only a room with twin beds was available but it had a balcony overlooking the lake. I was really looking forward to our stay and grateful at least one room was available. Once there, the view was awesome and I...

Many Glacier Hotel is a wooden structure over 100 years old. The rooms are small and some what Spartan in décor. However, the location in Glacier National Park cannot be beat. Reserve a lakeside room for a view that rivals Switzerland. The dining room is convenient, and there is really no place else to eat. We enjoy our meals there....

This review is a bit unusual because we didn't actually stay at Many Glacier. I tried booking reservations there, but because it's under renovation, only half the lodge was available and getting any type of room this years was impossible. But because we were staying within an hour of Many Glacier, we did visit the area around the lodge multiple...

we could not really appreciate the entire hotel as a major part including the main lobby area was under reconstruction. Our room was quite old. Need some upkeep. Overall a great place to stay. The two lakes, swiftcurrent and lake josephine are small but very beautiful lakes. We did the hike to Lower grinell lake take a boat ride across...

This restaurant was recommended to us by a colleague of our daughter who had recently visited Glacier National Park. We went there after a day long hike and the wait was 1 hour. We decided we would wait since it was highly recommended. Once we were seated at about 7:45 we found out they were out of Prime Rib. The...

The only 2 park lodges I considered for our 'splurge' were Many Glacier and Lake McDonald. Having stopped by Lake McDonald and stayed at MG, am glad we chose MG. Lake McD has a nice setting, though it pales in comparison to MG... which is SPECTACULAR. And as Lake McD is so much more accessible, LOTS of crowds.... You REALLY...
