The staff was wonderful and attentivie. The hotel I had a few complaints about. First, the hot tub jets stay on for less than 5 minutes and the pool and it smelled more like mold than pool and hot tub cleaner. Secondly, the keys were a hot mess. Working one minute not the next. I saw at least three other people at the front desk because the keys were not working. It was a hassle. But again, the area and hotel were adorable.

We stayed here two nights while visiting family. The place looks amazing from the outside and is in a "village" of shops, eateries, and even a movie theater. Free parking was everywhere and easy to get in and out of the hotel. There is an awesome walking trail very close by and it was in a very safe area. The rooms were very nice and we had no issues. Every single staff member we met was friendly, helpful and asked if we needed anything. Breakfast was as expected, since it was not busy it was grab and go, microwaveable items, but there was a waffle maker. Coffee and Juices too. We would definitely stay here again if we were back in town. Thank you for making our stay comfortable.

We stayed here one night. I feel bad giving it a bad review since it isn’t a chain, but it was not a great stay. First of all was the beds. I like a soft bed, but this was ridiculous. It was completely broken down. Second was the furnishings. They were very dated and showed sign of wear. Third was the extremely loud air conditioner. It rattled all night. If you can stay somewhere else, do it.

I’ve stayed here multiple times with my Grandchildren over the years and loved it. Our recent stay surprised me that the king suite was the same tired, worn our furniture and surfaces from 5-6 years ago. They need a remodel. Service is still good. Love the area!

On Sunday June 19th my husband and I checked into The Wildwood Hotel for our two year wedding anniversary. We thought it would be nice to get away for a night, but boy were we wrong. This Hotel used to be extremely nice and clean, it now appears run down with several holes in the carpeting, musty smells in the hallway and even broken glass on the pool room window. We were willing to overlook these items and still headed up to our room. Sometime in the night, the sheet came untucked from the bed revealing a large blood stain on the mattress protector, down the box spring and on to the floor. Since it was concealed previously by the sheet I unknowingly slept on top of someone else's blood. Appalled, my husband and I immediately went down to check out and notify the front desk staff. When shown a photo they offered no resolution just a half hearted, sorry about that. We paid $353 to sleep on a biohazard bed and have our issue dismissed by staff. We were promised a clean hotel room and didn't receive that. We were promised customer service, but the lackluster uncaring response received was anything but. I reached out to Hotel Co directly and received no response. The hotel staff also have called my husband multiple times asking if we left a flask in the room, which we didn't but it tells me they did not clean the room prior to our arrival, if they had changed the sheets the blood would have been automatically visible. I have also contacted the BBB and not received a response from the owner.

The Wildwood Hotel is a beautiful place to stay near St. Louis. It's a great alternative to all those hotel chains along I-44. On one hand, the Wildwood Hotel seems to be surrounded by wooded countryside, living up to its name of Wildwood. On the other hand, it is located on a couple of major arteries of the St. Louis area, so it is conveniently located. The front-desk staff and the maid staff deserve shout-outs for their personal attention to each guest. Several good restaurant options are within walking distance. The neighborhood is exceptionally safe.

This was our last of five nights on the road after a 3,200 mile trip from Kansas to the Atlantic Ocean. I was super excited about this booking based on photos and the price. I was a little disappointed but it's largely my fault. The first few photos when you book show extravagant rooms and I was really looking forward to that. If you go a little further, you see your actual room. Still nice enough but smaller than I was thinking. Price was still great for a pretty nice hotel in a removed suburb of St. Louis. Staff was great, and upon checkout they give you two drinks from the little shop. Can't say I've ever had that before. Room was a little small, AC a little loud, but other than that everything was great. Shower was clean and big with good hot water and pressure. Everything was clean. We had two rooms on two different floors, and all parties agreed the beds are among the best we've had in a hotel. I don't typically sleep great, especially in hotels, but I think I even slept mostly interrupted. Wildwood is a bit out of the way if you're wanting closer to some of the attractions in St. Louis, but if you're looking for quiet, this is it. The hotel is about a block from a new police station, and everything in Wildwood appears to be relatively new. There is a grocery store just down the street, as well as a gas station and a Walgreens. Based on the type of hotel, I was also expecting a grand breakfast. Still seemed like there was a bit of Covid protocol so it was pretty basic. Good Ronocco coffee, which is based in St. Louis and we have at home at gas stations. All in all, I expected this to be one of the fanciest hotels I'd ever stayed in, and on a pretty good price. In reality, the normal rooms are just that...pretty normal. I believe the suites are where the high-end comes in. Still, nice staff, everything was safe and clean. I'd definitely stay here again.

Hotel is in nice, safe location. However, due to covid restrictions (they say), there is no maid service. You have to make your own bed and pick up your towels and sheets at desk. Used linens and trash has to be set outside room. This makes it an extremely low value for the money. We did not know this in advance or we would never have stayed here. It is part of a vacation to not have to deal with own domestic chores. Better double check before making reservations.

My husband and I were at the Wildwood Hotel 2 nights for the Mathis/Reed Wedding. This hotel is beautiful and the service was amazing. From the greeting when we walked in the door till our goodbye. The guest room was impeccable and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud, very soft. Plenty of closet space.

We were in Missouri for a wedding. My brother suggested we stay here. While he is local, he had never stayed here either. You can tell this once was a nice hotel. There was chipping paint on the bathroom door, two of the lights were out and peeling wallpaper everywhere. The "gym" has three pieces of cardio equipment but only one works. You can turn on the TV and just one pair of weights and one barbell. We has a king suite and were charge
