We came with our dog to see our son stationed at the AFB by our hotel for Thanksgiving. The room, staff, and free breakfast made everything a great experience. Highly recommend and we will be back often. Next time to utilize the pool!

Hotel's Favorite
Very nice place to stay. This is our "go to" hotel when we visit Warrensburg, MO. The price for the type of rooms and customer service we receive, is why we continue going back. I also enjoy going to the fitness center. It has just what I need.

The service was quality, swift, attentive, and efficient. The room was well maintained and clean while offering everything needed for a short stay. The location is quiet but close to local venues and food options. If you are a picky breakfast eater the options are limited. Overall a very nice place to stay at a fair value.

This hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The beds were super comfy!! The breakfast bar could be better and it would be nice if they kept it stocked. But beyond that, I would definitely stay there again.

The room was clean. The mattress was very comfortable and the pillows were fluffy! The room was restocked with fresh towels and coffee pods daily. The staff was very friendly and continental breakfast was hot and fresh. Gave us a great start for the day.

We just needed a clean comfortable room for a night. We've used plenty of budget hotels in the $65-85 range for overnighters, so expected a little better out of this one. There was some mold on the ceiling over the tub. A common place for it, but a clear sign it's regularly ignored. When the mirror steams up, you can see where the housekeepers cleaned, or more so didn't clean it. They just made a quick swipe across a small fraction of the mirror. Again, another sign of shortcuts being taken during cleaning. Why is it so hard for hotels to get their housekeeping staff to actually clean the rooms well? This is also an indication that management isn't ensuring the work's being done properly. Cleanliness of a room is one thing we shouldn't have to sacrifice just for paying less than other hotels. The toilet ran forever after it was flushed and the bathroom sink was roaring loud for some reason. We had a 2 queen room. Both beds were in desperate need of being replaced. They were shaped like tacos...big depressions in the center. If 2 people try to sleep in one, they'd roll to the center. Probably the most worn out beds I've ever seen in a hotel room. Breakfast. Two pieces of bread & one bagel. Sausage patties that were cold and not very good, along with cold scrambled eggs that were formed into the shape of small pucks. Sausage gravy but I don't really know what it was for because there were no biscuits to put it on. It's not like the biscuits were taken because the attendant did come out but never brought any. There was no syrup for the waffles. Only 2 mini yogurts in the fridge. A few boxes of cornflakes, that's the only cereal. A lot of small problems that come together to be a bigger one. This hotel seems to be on a downward spiral, not worth paying over $100/night in my opinion. It has the potential to be a nice stay for a reasonable price, but it looks like it's being allowed to go downhill.…

Smelled like mold, cable provided 30 channels but only 3 came in. Breakfast was undercooked and low quality. The hotel across the street is a little more expensive but well worth it. The employees are questionable at best

The hotel is reasonably priced and very clean and tidy. Staff are helpful and friendly. Decent value for the price. The pet fee is fine if you are traveling with one pet but 2 or more and the $30/night/pet can add up.

Checked in late Thursday night and was supposed to check out Sunday morning. However, to our surprise we came back to the hotel Saturday night around 8:30 to find out we had been locked out of our room. Rylie at the front desk said we were being kicked out of the hotel for sneaking in our dogs. I said I didn't sneak any pets in, I told the girl at the desk the night I checked in and she told me she would make sure I was in a pet friendly room. Rylie called the manager and put her on speakerphone. The manager was beyond rude, wouldn't let me talk. Kept calling me a liar and informed me she charged my cc $350 for being in a non- pet room with pets. Told me to leave the property or she was calling the police and then hung up on me. I then called the Warrensburg police department, and an officer came. The officer said they have a lot of problems with that hotel. The officer called to speak to the manager, and she did the exact same thing to the police officer, wouldn't let her talk. The manager later changed her story after the front desk girl realized the manager wasn't even asking the person that checked us in. They finally called the girl that checked us in Bri and then Bri said we told her that we had a service animal which we did not. So, to begin with I was being accused of sneaking my dogs in and that they had no idea we had any dogs with us and then next minute I had a service dog with me. The officer asked if it was a pet, ESA, or Service animal does it matter, and the manager said they would all go in a pet friendly room. The officer said so it sounds like your employee made a mistake and put them in the wrong room. The manager went off and said my employees don't make mistakes!!! It was quite the experience and I highly recommend you choose another hotel when visitng Warrensburg! FYI, the same owner owns the Holiday Inn Express in Warrensburg. We will be staying at the Comfort Inn for all of our future visits!…

Sorry you had such a bad experience with Best Western. Unfortunantly we can not have animals in the hotel that we are unaware of being here. That can put our guests at risk and hotel employees, also we do have pet friendly rooms for that purpose. Also if it was known to us you had a dog, which you booked through a third party and in the notes the third party will inform us if they knew, we would have asked you to fill out our dog contract, so you would be aware of all extra charges for the animal. All information is on the registration paper that was signed by you when checking in. I hope you give Best Western another chance to show you how dog friendly we are at your next stay.
