After having our other sleeping accommodations fall through we unexpectedly stayed at the west but were pleasantly surprised. Starbucks and restaurant staff were awesome and so friendly, especially Arlando and Rodney. Thank you to Fatu and Christina, I work front desk and was very impressed with my check out experience. Room was clean and housekeeping staff helped us get extra bedding. Would stay again!

I've stayed at this hotel before and had no issues, but this last trip was horrible. I did mobile check-in and arrived at the hotel on 9/10/19 around 3:30 PM. When I went to the front desk I gave them my first and last name and handed them my corporate card that I used to make the reservation. The lady, holding my card, asks me to verify the last four digits on the card. I told her I didn't have my corporate card memorized, so I couldn't do that. She told me that I would have to in order to check-in. I asked her for the card back so I could read them to her, but she wouldn't hand it back. I told her again, I couldn't tell her the last four digits. She said I had two options at that point, #1 I could switch to a different card (it was a business trip, I'm not using my personal card) or #2 cancel the reservation. I told her I would go with #2, got my card back, and had to find another hotel (since they were overbooked). I've stayed around 100 nights at various hotels over the last year for work and have NEVER been asked to verify the last four digits of the card used to make the reservation when they're holding that card in their hands! It has my name on it, which matches the reservations, which matches my drivers license... why on earth do I need to verify that? Not even a bank, restaurant, store, etc. requires that, they just ask to see your ID. I will not be staying at this Marriott for any future business trips, and anyone that does, make sure you have those last four digits memorized on the card you use to make the reservation...

Enjoyed our stay here, very comfortable and convenient, employees super friendly and helpful. Thank you Fatu with the bright nails and bright smile, we hadn't been here since last year and your sunny welcome made us feel so welcome, as we always do. Loved the proximity to running paths and roads by the university. Easy parking. Loved breakfast. We'll be back.

The hotel staff is very friendly and went out of their way to make sure that our stay was enjoyable. I used the mobile app to check in and picked up my key with out issues. The breakfast was amazing! Will stay here again on my next visit.

We pulled up to the hotel and I was impressed. The landscaping was neat and an awesome older gentleman greeted me as soon as my foot touched the property. He was by far my favorite!! All of the receptionist were amazing! They all were pleasant and very helpful. The rooms were moderate sized. Everything and everyone were great, except for the cleanliness. The room was not to Marriott's standard. I was looking for a shoe under the bed and noticed an empty liquor bottle. As I used the restroom I noticed the corners of the wall and baseboards were dirty. The towels were dingy and stained. I did feel disgusted and was happy it was only for one night. Beside the room being "icky" everything else was great. Again, the older gentleman with the grey beard is amazing! Please thank him for my family and I!
