We stayed in the motel last year and last weekend, in the cabins. The motel is a bit newer with newer furnishings but the cabins weren't that bad for the money. a very inexpensive way to sleep in A/C near the water, with hot showers and has a Restaurant, pool and slip rental for boats all within walking distance. Quite... More

The Orleans Trail is a no frill type of motel. While there was a coffee pot in our room, there are no tissues and our room didn't have a clock. The motel provided coffee pods on our check in day, they were never replenished during the rest of our stay. The rooms are typical of a Motel 6 or similar... More

No maid service or at least we never received any we just put the trash on the deck it is still there we had to go exchange our dirty towels for clean ones and get new trash bags and even told them we were putting the trash on the deck. Stayed here before the motel isn't horrible but the put... More

My father and I took a trip to do some Wallyee fishing. We were concerned with previous reviews. We were so impressed with both the cleanness and friendly service. Definitely will make this a annual trip.

My husband was staying here on business so I went down to join him for a weekend of fishing. He said they were putting him in a cabin. Turned out to be what appeared to be a trailer they converted into 2 units. Beds were hard as a rock, only had cold water at the sink. Shower was disgusting so... More

Filthy, angry owner/staff, overpriced, outdated and just plain a shame and disgusting! Family stayed there over the holiday in July and amazed at how awful it was. The room smelled awful, carpets probably have stains from the 1970's. Bathroom was unacceptable under any circumstances... unless of course it was the last room on earth to live the rest of my... The place is a classic 50's décor hotel/motel that time forgot. The beds were terrible with some sort of plastic wrap over the mattress that was loud and uncomfortable. The sheets and bedspread were old and stained like everything in the room. bad, the AC was either on full blast or off and it was loud! Would not stay there... More

My family and I booked two cabins and rented a pontoon boat. The rooms were fine for a weekend at the lake. The pontoon boat was a little older, but worked just fine. The marina staff were excellent, patient and so helpful! Our only real complaint was that the water in the room smelled of sulfur. The hotel and marina... More

I really cannot give this a good review for anything and I can be satisfied with very little when I only need a place to sleep. Dirt on the floor and furniture, stains in the bathroom, sink wouldn't drain well...and don't get me started on the smell. There must have been a dead mouse in the wall or under the... More

We offer standard hotel rooms (2 Queens or 1 King), Suites in the hotel facility that offer 1 queen bed with a seperate living area that has a pull out loveseat and a mini kitchen with a full size refrigerator, microwave and breakfast bar. We have a 2 bedroom suite also in the hotel facility that offers the same ammenities as the above suite but it offers 2 bedrooms, each with 1 queen size bed and a pull out loveseat. We also offer cabins that are ideal for the fisherman... these are set up just like a hotel room with either 2 queen beds or 1 king bed. The cabins are air conditioned with television, mini coffee pot and bathroom with shower only (no tubs). Our cabins offer a more rustic, less expensive option for the folks that like to come to the lake but aren't looking to "rough it". Orleans Trail also offers a full service Marina with yearly or over night boat slips, fishing boat and pontoon rentals, scuba air, full service marine repair shop and much more! Orleans Trail Restaurant is open March to October. We offer salads, sandwiches, burgers, steaks and seafood.
