Lesson learned! It was the cheapest we could find in Sikeston. Yes, I knew ahead of time that it was a smoking room but I didn't expect the smoke to permeate in the carpets, bedding, curtains, etc. The smell never went away. Perhaps staying in a non-smoking room would have made a difference but I don't think I will be... More

The sign is the nicest thing about this motel. Bullet points... *When we got to the room it didn't really seemed to be clean. The was food under the bed. Gross! *When the heater came on it smelled really bad. *The sheets were not clean (hair on them,GROSS!!). When I went down to get more sheets the guy behind the... More

Good clean rooms, and a little higher than average price for a Motel 6. On check-in Manager and assistant were a bit challenged with some of the computer systems being down, but after about 45 minutes were able to check in guests. Fairly good location. Was surprised to be told to go the hotel next door for vending machine snacks.... More

I just wanted a clean, safe room after many nights of camping. I got that, but the room smelled like someone had smoked it in, and they sprayed something even worse to cover the smell. I was dealing with that, until I saw the bugs. First, one on the floor, then another on the wall. All within 20 minutes. Two... More

The manager was very personable and it's a great place to stay. It was quiet and clean and there are wonderful attractions nearby, including Cairo, IL, Wickliffe Mounds and town in KY, and the famous 'trowed roles' of Sikeston, which are actually excellent. It's a wonderful experience to stand in Ft. Defiance St. Park in Cairo and watch the Ohio... More

After reading reviews I was afraid to stay here, but looking for a cheap hotel lead me to give the mixed reviews a try. Front desk very friendly. Very pet friendly. Room was very clean with comfy bed and fluffy towels. Carpet looked new but not sure. This is an older hotel but the owners are doing what they can... More

Needs thorough cleaning and paint.Front desk was cordial. Didn't sleep well due to odor. I'm probably too picky, but just being honest. Wanted to save a few bucks but probably would not make same decision..especially if I had family with me.

We stopped here at 11pm to sleep for a long drive. The front desk clerk was super polite and helpful. He knew I was exhausted and scooted through check-in. The room (requested first floor) was perfectly clean. No fridge or micro- but we didn't need it. I really appreciated the front desks quick and polite service when checking in.

Well-maintained for an older hotel. Thin walls, though; you have to turn on the fan if your neighbors get frisky. Good location. Close to the highway. No breakfast, but plenty of options close. Very minimal, but sufficient for a cheap sleep.

I always choose Motel 6 when traveling because of their partnership with AKC. Being on the road alot, its nice to know I don't have to worry about my show dogs not being allowed in the room. Stopped at this motel 6 on my way to the National Championship show in St. Louis. First off, walking in the room smelled... More
