Our first stay at the Bothwell was during the Mo State Fair Society Horse Show. We loved it! Charming, clean, friendly staff and best of all pet friendly! Parking is not an issue. Nice location on the historic Sedalia town square. Walking distance to restaurants and wonderful local coffee shop. We will definitely be back.

This property is awesome for Romantics and others looking for a peaceful weekend. This Historic Site has been remodeled and brought up to Modern standards but still has the classic look of a luxury hotel from the 1930's. The room was immaculately clean and well-appointed. The bed was very soft and comfortable. The check-in was quick efficient and the clerk was extremely friendly. This property is actually pet friendly, they only charged $25 to have our miniature dachshund with us. We were not able to get the complimentary breakfast because of covid-19 protocols.

A nice historic hotel. Walls are paper thin and you can hear everything and anything. There is a train that is nearby and if you are a light sleeper the train could wake you up. I stayed in room 411, which is next to an electrical maintenance room. I have to take a 3 hr nap every afternoon and the workers on my floor were doing their job. My daily naps were non existent. The bed was so hard (which is not my usual comfort) so that also impacted my sleep. The Christmas decorations were above and beyond, absolutely beautiful. The front desk staff were very friendly and inviting. The location is central to everything and once I learned to navigate Sedalia and the downtown square my maneuvering became much easier. I probably won't stay here again but it was a very nice experience, beautiful historic hotel and a great introduction to Sedalia and a part of Missouri I had never visited.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for providing us with your feedback from your recent stay. We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your stay. During your visit we were in fact, installing new carpet in our rooms, and that may have been the noise you were hearing. We do invite you to come back and give us another try to provide you with a better experience. Please contact me directly when returning to Sedalia, and I will make sure to upgrade your room, and try to move you away from other occupied rooms to allow for a more relaxed daytime rest. Thank you again, we greatly appreciate your business. Laura Erganian, GM

We attended a family wedding and stayed two nights at this beautiful old hotel. It was decorated beautiful for the Christmas holidays. Lost count of how many trees they had decorated. Wedding reception was only 2 blocks away. Breakfast was complimentary and had a variety of choices. If the walls could only talk, lots of history has happened there.
