This restaurant is reopened and has great food. I was, however, a tad disappointed in that the first time we visited we had a fabulous Cajun pizza, and the second time we went, they had removed it from the menu. I certainly hope they decide to add it again. Other than that, it has great food, desserts and service.

Thought everyone should know it is no longer open, but it may be open next year. It was old and running downhill. It has been sold and the new owners are doing a major rehabilitation -- I drove by yesterday and the entire first floor was emptied out. It's a great building and had a formal dining room; let's hope... More

Great hotel and restaurant for a small historic town! Fall and Winter stays are best. Price is great and food at the restaurant is very good. We chatted with the locals who were 4th and 5th generation families. The hotel is not ultimately fancy but for the price and having a restaurant on site we thought it was a great... More

I still love this hotel. I've stayed there along with friends several times over the past 15 years. We all love St. Genevieve. This old hotel has the best location and price no question. In my opinion the restaurant is very good and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel has a cool bar on premises. The hotel staff are... More

My organization booked 12 rooms for the first weekend of August for a conference which included families with children of all ages. The temperature outside was in the high 90's to lower 100's. There is NO central a/c in the rooms or upper hallway where the rooms are located, just small window units for each room. It never got below... More

My fiance and I visited the restaurant last weekend. We just wanted to give a shout out for Sierra. She was amazing! She was working as the hostess, waitress, bus boy, and I think she was also preparing some of the food. She did it all with a smile. Sierra is amazing. Please give that girl a raise...she deserves it!

Sitting halfway between quaint and outdated, the Hotel Ste. Genevieve is an old hotel from another era. Little has been done to keep this establishment modernized, but that doesn't mean that it's not worth a weekend stay. The prices are affordable, and it sits within walking distance of several historical attractions. Even though the rooms are a bit run-down, they... More

We stayed at the Hotel Ste. Genevieve for over 2 weeks while we were working construction in the area. We were able to come and go as we needed. The room had a shower with a tub, microwave, refrigerater, kichenette where we could make our snacks for our lunch, and a TV. The Diner has excellent food at very reasonable... More

I love this hotel. It has it all: location, good restaurant, bar, nice employees, comfortable beds. It needs a little restoration, but not too much. It has a certain old fashion charm.

Clean Linens and room was OK very large, need curtains as the room was NEVER dark, which made it hard to sleep. The hotel is very... More
