Our stay at The Four Seasons was beyond words. Each and every member of the staff was exceptional and made sure we were taken care of from the moment we approached the building through our entire stay. The city view and rooftop pool area were what we enjoyed most! We only wish we had more time to stay and enjoy their incredible amenities!
Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel for families. To start with positive, loved the pool, location, and the breakfast was delicious. I booked through FHR and check in and welcome treat were seamless. Our second breakfast had a waitress that had awful service. Coffeee wasn’t refilled, kids food wasn’t brought out early as requested, didn’t have proper silverware or butter for toast when it came out. I had to get up multiple times and find someone to help and ask for what I needed, which is not what I expect of a four seasons. The host was also rude both days about where we could walk and not walk outside- essentially telling us we needed to go through the restaurant to get outside even though the servers used the gate by the bar. I also don’t get how tables aren’t set and ready to go first thing. Finally, my husband brought the two year old to the lobby and they both got yelled at for hanging around even though there was nothing dangerous and my husband was keeping a close eye on him. Little things too- like a rag on the lobby floor from 6-8a until I said something, beer can in elevator and the front desk not knowing where ice machines were made it feel like special. I gave feedback last Sunday to manager and was told someone would be in touch and there has been no follow through. Oh- and my daughter was yelled at by a waitress for playing in the shallow pool, which she is allowed to swim in, because people were eating nearby. I had already told her not to splash and she’s 7 so can listen, but also don’t put a table next to a swimmable pool that is actively used! Hotel seems to cater to gamblers and conferences, I would try somewhere else if I’m in St. Louis again.…
Seems like St Louis is beginning to invest in downtown with new hotel and venue options which is great to see. We are former residents of the city and would never come into city unless for game or concert and would promptly leave when event was over. So thought we'd give downtown a try. Picked Four Seasons because of reputation and past stays at other properties. This one was just okay. Came in during a wedding reception and the guests were in the way of other hotel guests. Would be better if they had a separate event space where they were away from other hotel guests. Pool space was nice but super windy, wonder if it's always like that based on location. Arch view from our room was good view of the monument but ugly looking at rooftops all around. The freeway close to hotel was noisy at night as was the music piped up from the pool area. Not what I've come to expect from Four Seasons properties. Room was clean, good size and comfy bed. Staff was very nice and friendly. Overall though, too much money for what should have been an exceptional stay.…
I have been several times and I love it. I went with my wife last weekend to Four Seassons St Louis and surprisingly, we found a hole on the duvet cover of the bed and huge hole on the robe. It is not very important but this is something that they need to care of if they want to maintain the excellence of the name.
As a "view person" I loved the floor to ceiling window that allowed a view of the arch and the river. Very comfortable bedding. Good wifi for streaming. Spacious bathroom with a tv in the mirror (The grandchildren would have loved it.). Delicious breakfast, especially the little gem salad. Good drinks, burgers and fries in the bar, along with the view. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend contacting Trish, the in house concierge. She was so helpful! She secured reservations at a restaurant on The Hill that I was not able to make calling personally. Also researching and sharing times the Cathedral Basilica was open and closed for weddings (the mosaics are incredible!) and free concerts at the Jazz Museum. Thank you, Trish! Four Seasons is fortunate to have you.
Our arrival was for business, not pleasure, but staying at the Four Seasons St. Louis made it pleasurable. The staff was top notch and at your service (even with the staffing and worker situation after Covid). The hotel is immaculate, rooms are luxurious and the views of the city are beautiful. There is a casino next door in this district but we took Uber into the downtown. Overall... one of the nicest 5* hotels we have stayed at recently. Four Seasons St. Louis was one of the best FS I have stayed at in any urban location. Thanks.
This was by far one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The view of the Arch from the floor to ceiling window is surreal. We would open the blinds and sit and talk. Just taking in the view. The room was beautiful. The food at the restaurant and room service were top notch. The entire staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful. It is centrally located to almost everything there is to do in St. Louis. This is a must stay.
My sister and I stayed for a sister’s weekend getaway. Overall the best place to stay in STL. The spa is amazing, service is exceptional. The food at Cinder was delicious! Our in room dining breakfast was perfect as well.
Ok this review is a little long, but I mean every word and this needs to be shared. Christmas 2021 I traveled to St. Louis to visit family for the first time since the pandemic began. After traveling most of the day all I could think about was dropping my bags in my room and heading straight for the spa. I had not been to the spa since 2019. I planned to visit the steam room and whirlpool every night of my stay. Heaven! I read all available literature to prepare for my visit so you can imagine my disappointment when I arrived, dropped my bags, grabbed my flip flops, headed to the spa, and was told that to partake in the amenities I must purchase a service. Now, I had every intention of one day purchasing services but not every day. This was the first time in my life I ever said these words, “I’d like to speak to a manager”. I was told that since the pandemic the policy had changed. I was disappointed to the point that I was on the verge of tears. I am not a wealthy person. I saved and planned and dreamed of this Christmas gift to myself. I texted the front desk as I headed back to my room stating I would be leaving and requesting a refund when I get downstairs. That spa made the cost of the room so worth it in my mind. To not have that access…nah I’m going to go somewhere else for just a room. When I got to the front desk Anthony Mancillas (front desk manager) was there waiting for me. He apologized and as I stated I read ALL the literature available and there was no mention of spa amenities available only with a service purchase, he agreed that the policy change was not published. He offered me an upgraded room and I was just flustered and nearing tears. What do I do? Fine. Yes, I accepted the upgrade. Of course, the suite was lovely, but I came specifically to melt in the steam room. Less than 10 minutes later the phone rings from the front desk. Mr. Mancillas was checking on me and apologized again and offered me the use of the spa after closing. He stated security would be there to let me in. What?! Yes (running to grab my flip flops and head the elevator). People when I tell you they could have scooped me up with a spoon afterwards. I thanked the attendant and security as I floated back to my room. I got my PJs on and got under the covers after a long day, ready to fall blissfully asleep (man, I love those black out curtains). But before I could fall asleep the phone rang again from the front desk. They were checking on me and I gushed telling them how thankful I was. But wait, there’s more. Why was I offered the opportunity to access to spa after hours every night for the rest of my stay (an additional 3 days)!! What are you saying right now?! I thanked them profusely. This is why the Four Season is 5 stars! The service is exceptional. While I didn’t take them up on the additional days (I felt guilty having an attendant stay after their shift just for me), I was floored by the offer. The way they attended to me…I can’t express how much they made this single mother of four feel like a head of state. Thank you, thank you, thank you!…
We stayed here for a weekend to visit the city and loved every minute of it.Staff was wonderful, food superb, and a sexy vibe. We spent almost a whole day at the pool and It felt like paradise. Can't wait to go back.
